I love this strain everytime I get it im blessed to have it in my hands:). The buds are nice and dense and always tons of trichomes looks like sugar. The aroma on the bus is so sweet and Berryish and the taste is like a purple grape candy of somesort it's always amazing and it's a great pain relief strain especially after a long ass day lol

GDP delivers as a strain. I feel like I'm wired a little different so the talk of "couch lock" and "stuck" doesn't apply to my experience with anything other than overripe flowers. That said GDP def offers one of the smoothest experiences I've had in awhile. My mind goes from lots of white noise from responsibilities and thoughts of the day to a quiet focus on my senses. Almost meditative without the need for meditation? It's a solid night time choice for insomnia for the same reason. I've struggled with finding strains that can handle my anxiety and GDP is one that does just that without being a harsh smoke like some of the better Sativas for anxiety can be. Not to mention the flowers themselves are big, dense, and resinous sticky. GDP is a flower with a very distinct set of characteristics that while its not my favorite, I was enamored by the thick smoke and gentle aroma. A solid choice from any menu.

I smoked this twice today so far. It had a nice body high that didn't render me useless. Great for taking a late afternoon stroll. I wasn't able to focus long on anything at all except for conversation. This really did get us all talking incessantly. By the third bowl, it took us forever to cash it because everyone would stop to talk. I was starving not long after I sampled GDP, but I also hadn't eaten all day at that point. After we ate, I started getting feelings of nostalgia that I often get with great bud. With this also came some sort of emotional connection to music more so than usual. The second session was similar with the focus in conversation and laughter. I was more into reading this time, but it was a change in scenery. The emotional and nostalgia returned and so did my apetite. I would definitely seek out this buddha for a day around the house reading and watching the tube. My favorite Indica.

Loved this strain. My friend & I had the day off & he so happened to have about an 3 grams of Granddaddy Purple, I was excited because I never had it before & I always wanted to try it. He pulled out the nugs & they were sorta small for what granddaddy purple is said to be massive nugs, but these nugs were very compact/dense & crystally, they smelled of grape, almost like the grape soda & the taste was unbelieveably purplish haha. We smoked about 1.5 grams of the 3 out of a giant pipe I just bought. The feeling comes quick & harsh, just like how it was on the lungs, damn it was harsh. Made me very sleepy but I had enough strength to stay awake, great for insomniacs. I wouldnt say overpowering, but this bud does tell you whos boss. & it looks like I owe someone a smoke-out ;)

This is a classic indica. Granddaddy Purple is a heavyweight champion that will melt you into whatever furniture you're in and knock you out in higher doses. Great for tight and tense muscles. Some plants have higher levels of Linalool, a terpene found to alleviate stress, calm the immune system, and potentially help reduce the severity of seizures. Therefore this is a good flower to combine with a high CBD strain if you're looking to treat seizures, muscle spasms, and tenseness. I purchased the vape oil for GDP on the recommendation of a friend, who suffers from insomnia. I was previously taking three medications to sleep and would still find myself waking up because of pain. GDP got the job done with making me sleepy and managed to suppress my pain enough that I managed to sleep for longer than an hour or so. The overall body high laziness made passing the fourteen kidney stones that I passed in the last two weeks bearable but I had two major problems with the strain. 1. Lazy. I had zero ambition to do anything other than lay in bed. I worked but it was very difficult to get through my job because I was very cloudy-headed. 2. Sex. I wanted to do nothing but masturbate, have sex, watch porn, and masturbate again. Most people wouldn't think this is an issue but I work in the adult industry and the last thing I want to do during my downtime is watch porn and have sex. Overall, really good for acute pain but too strong for daily use.

Talking about this strain can make me slightly emotional. I know that sounds silly, but for someone who has been struggling with insomnia their entire life, I think i have the right to cry a few tears of joy over finally finding the cure. I have anxiety attacks just thinking about sleep, and I'm not very sure why... I guess because I know that I won't actually sleep? I really don't know. I used to lie in bed for hours, with intrusive, racing thoughts until I would just give up and turn on the TV. Holding down a job, or just having a decent life is impossible with chronic insomnia. Thankfully, vaping some of this before bed knocks me out. I've never been able to just pass out in front of the TV, or without tossing and turning for at least half an hour, but now I can 😁 I'm so happy!!!
