I just tried this strain last night it was just wonderful. I was a little worried as I prefer just Indica strains but this was heavenly it calms me down and made me happy and giddy I just loved it. There was no jitters no panicky feelings, I have severe PTSD and chronic panic attacks and anxiety this is just what I needed even if it's just at the end of the day or the beginning of the morning. although I do recommend a Indica for the bedtime... but for those of you are struggling with severe chronic panic and stress please give this a try you will not be letdown.😌
*Note: I mix this strain with "ACDC" which is a 1:25 ratio of THC to CBD to help from having a bad trip and I vape it out of a Pax.
This strain is perfect. It is hands down the best high I have ever had. It wasn't influenced by getting high with my friends or having an experience or anything. I sat at home, ate dinner and watched a movie.....and yet it beat every strain I have ever tried which include:
Mr. Nice,
Bubba Kush,
Girl Scout Cookies,
God's Gift,
Lemon Drop,
Super Lemon Haze,
ACDC,
Platinum Bubba Kush,
Maui Waui,
Black Cherry Soda,
Emperor's Cut,
Black Mamba,
Louis XIII,
The Hulk,
Euphoria,
Cannatonic,
Death Star OG,
Lemon OG Kush,
Blue Dream,
Each strain has offered me relief in different ways and their purpose has differed depending on what I need it for. I am diagnosed Type 2 Bipolar. I am also ADD. I currently take Adderal for my ADD and Lamictal which is a mood stabilizer for Bipolar. The Lamictal causes MASSIVE depression and suicidal thoughts. I don't want to go on another Anti-Depressant like I have in the past (if you have been down that road, you know what I'm talking about). My depression has been HEAVY and very painful physically as well as mentally. I have been looking for the right strain for a LONG time and finally....FINALLY....this is it. The euphoria I feel on it makes me feel like the good old me before I started taking pills....I feel amazing without the downfalls of mania. In a span of 30 minutes, I went from a crushing headache, having crying fits and suicidal thoughts to being the happiest I have been in months. I was totally removed from my dark depression and into a place that not only put life into it's proper perspective but allowed me to experience the highs I used to feel. All the weight melted away and even though my night was super mundane, it was a perfect night by myself.
Another thing to mention is that I have ALWAYS considered myself an indica guy. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to weed (anything that starts with a super, king, platinum, etc. or ends with an "OG" is always a bad time for me. I had a terrible trip on "Blue Dream" and even threw up when smoking the strain "Euphoria". Sativa's have been brutal to me!). But Lamb's Bread is it! Look, if you are looking to have some crazy trip, there are plenty of other strains out there that will give you just that. I legitimately use weed as a medical purpose....which is why I am writing this to everyone.
If you suffer from Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar or ADD, this strain is perfect. Look no further. It's clear enough to focus and carry on conversations easily but not so clear where it almost becomes harsh. The first half of this high is mostly head high....but the second half....wow....what a body high! I felt AMAZING on this. No headaches like Girl Scout Cookies, Super Lemon Haze, etc. can bring on. The first half is energetic and the second half has a small sleepy effect. Could have been cause it was getting late...but amazing that I have the option of smoking a sativa at night and being able to go to bed on it if I want!
I can't recommend this strain enough! The only other strain that comes close is either Maui Waui or Mr. Nice...but even then they don't even compare to Lambs Bread!
It's Sunday morning, and I figured it was time to grind up a bud of Lambs Bread. The buds I have are as thick as my thumb, and about half as tall...nice, compact nuggets, light green and covered in orange hair.
I describe the smell as a distinct Sativa odor...strong, pure, not flowery, but similar to a Green Crack, but with an identity all its own.
I grind. I empty the grinder, and behold that the wondrous finely ground herb is ready for inhalation. I always use the same instrument for each review: my manzanita root, 43 year old pipe, that I received as a gift on my 17th birthday. Yes, I'm an old timer, but I still can kick your ass in checkers.
The taste is just like its odiferous offering, smooth and very pleasing to the palate, throat and lungs. Tastes sweet and clean.
It's been approximately 20 minutes since a small bowl has been torched, and I feel a bit aroused. No, ye of filthy mind, not in the loins, in the mind. This is not a kick in the face buzz, but an easy lifting of the spirits, like the slow assent of a hot air balloon on a Southern California morning with no wind to potentially blow you into a 1,000,000 volt high tension electrical line. You can relax, you worry worts. No mind bending gonna happen here, just nice and easy, steady as she goes.
I'm giving the Lambs Bread, (Breath) a 4.5 on the John 18 scale. Summa Cum Laude for taste, as its smoothness is just divine, as my friends in West Hollywood say, and it's taste lives up to its highest marks in the exhalation.
I'm taking points away for it's "stopping power". That's a term used to describe a weapon's ability to stop an animal or a man with one shot. Lambs Breath will require several "shots", to bring down this raging buffalo, as I like an ass whooping sativa that blows out my eyeballs with a hit or two, but that's just me. I'm talking about a Ghost Train Haze, or a Green Crack, a real forehead thumper, that just might make an anxious or paranoid personality jump up and down, looking for that stranger behind them, lurking, ready to touch them somewhere on their vulnerable body or mind, (perhaps even both). If this reminds you of yourself, or someone you know, no worries with Lambs Bread. It's easy like Sunday morning.
Awesome flower! It's in my top 3; you get a nice head high that relaxes both mind and body. Forget paying for a psychologist , go pick up some Lamb's Bread. Natures medicine for depression and anxiety. Go rent The Secrete Life of Walter Mitty and make it a movie night.
Lambs Bread is one of my favorite Sativa Strains. You can feel the effects immediately after smoking it. Right away, you feel intense euphoria. Your headache, stress, anxiety go away immediately. This strain is very good in alleviating symptoms and great for day time use. You will feel focused and will feel the effects for a long time. If you need a mental balance to start off the day, I suggest you try Lambs Bread. Great for creativity, relaxing, , staying active, focused. Great effective Cerebral high/ BTW it is known to be Bob Marley's favorite strain!
This is the best strain I have smoked. I vapid with a friend and she agreed this is a 10. Beautiful euphoria, a feeling that everything is alright with the world, and a very productive creativity- meaning the creativity was not goofy high ideas, but rather solidly good ones. Enough clarity and focus to easily and happily get things done. I felt very motivated on this strain, but the motivation was solely for creative projects- photography, writing, painting, etc. I wouldn't have wanted to clean my house on this- White Widow is for the grunt work. I can easily see how Bob Marley liked this. I was able to be very comfortable socializing, and confident, but not stupid. Music and food were amplified and more amazing. I was able to focus and complete every creative task. This strain, as long as I can find it, will be a regular in my weed buffet. I am very prone to depression, fatigue and lack of motivation after dealing with seizures. This strain made me feel AMAZING
Aloha!
What an honor to be the 420th person to review this legendary strain, a personal favorite of Bob Marley's verified by his 'Ohana (family) who still cultivate the strain to this day sown Nine Mile in Jamaica.
Lambsbread is named after the Rastafarian spiritual belief that the holy herb is in fact the "bread of the lamb" or the bread of life from Jah that feeds us spiritually.
While some people have taken to taken to calling it "lamb's breath" this name is incorrect according to those cultivating the strain in Jamaica for the last 50 plus years.
Lambsbread is still cultivated by Bob Marley's 'Ohana in Jamaica and can be seen grown in her homeland by his cousin Sledger in the documentary "Sledger" recently released on Youtube by Pua Mana 'Ohana.
Here is a link to the film you can watch free of charge out of Jah Love:

As for cultivation of the strain Lambsbread is a looong flowering Jamaican sativa but worth every second of patience cultivated.
Those who can make the 16 plus week trip to harvest are assured to be treated to one of the finest delicacies in all of the cannabis kingdom.
Jah guide and provide 'Ohana!
Aloha a hui hou,
Pua Mana 'Ohana
Migraine pain comin on; nausea 6 when I medicated round 1600 or so. Love how light the buds are in color & how covered in crystals they are. Takes bout 5-10 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. Body high exactly what I needed. Head high energetic; was able to clean house. Love me good worker buds! High lasted over 4 + hours. Definitely on my fav list. Highly recommend for daytime use for pain/nausea! :-)
