At Tantalus Labs, our facility was designed and built with a singular purpose - to produce elite B.C cannabis. Our selected cultivars are grown in an environmentally controlled greenhouse, engineered specifically for cannabis. We call it SunLab¹. 

SunLab¹ is the culmination of four years of design and construction. It leverages the minds of leading BC scientists, engineers, and agriculturalists, all on a mission to build a brighter future for cannabis. It was created at the intersection of optimized plant health and sustainable cultivation. From a previously underground industry, we’ve built something that sets a new standard in product quality, while honouring the greater environment that sustains us all.

Cannabis

Sky Pilot is a sweet and pungent indica-dominant cultivar, aptly named after Sky Pilot mountain, a prominent peak in the Tantalus Mountain Range. It’s a high THC strain that features larger than average trichomes, giving it an ultra-frosted appearance. Lime green in colour, scent of blueberry with hints of spice and pine. This unique BC bud is inspired by our supernatural surroundings and Sungrown with care and only clean, natural inputs at SunLab.

Sky Pilot

Sky Pilot is a sweet and pungent indica-dominant strain, selected exclusively by Tantalus Labs from a Blue Dream cross.

Blue Dream

Our variation of the classic Skunk Haze strain is Sungrown in BC and is a Tantalus range strain staple. Earning its reputation as a cannabis for many occasions thanks to its hybrid, balanced nature and always sustainably cultivated in Canada’s cannabis capital. It’s notably higher in CBD, lower in THC, and has a rich boldness that lives up to the name. Inspired by our boreal, BC coastlines the buds of our Skunk Haze feature frosted green tips that mimic the lushness of our forests. Cured slowly at a low temperature, the terpenes found in this strain elicit prominent rich notes of cedar wood, pine needle, and peppermint.

Skunk Haze

Skunk Haze is a reputable BC Cannabis staple. Tantalus Labs’ variant has a notably high CBD content and smells fruity with a hint of vanilla.

Pacific OG is a Sativa dominant hybrid, a Tantalus curation of Goji OG, bred from Nepali OG and Snow Lotus. Nepali OG, aka Nepali Kush, is a long-lineage classic close to Tahoe OG that brings conical-shaped buds and earthy notes of an OG aroma, while Snow Lotus lays an undercurrent of black cherry and subtle hints of liquorice. The colas of Pacific OG are caked, hand-harvested, and cured, providing a full flavour due in part to dominant terpenes of pinene and nerolidol.

Pacific OG is a Sativa dominant hybrid, a Tantalus curation of Goji OG, bred from Nepali OG and Snow Lotus. 

Goji OG

One of our truly BC inspired strains is Serratus, an indica leaning strain named for its unique appearance mimicking the jagged features of Serratus mountain. The buds of this high THC strain feature chunky blocks of Sungrown BC cannabis clusters and a fresh but woodsy terpene profile. The slow curing process increases potency and enhances the uniquely BC flavours of clean, velvety earth notes with a woody backbone and lighter melony citrus aromas. The combination of its delicate flavour and stunning visual appearance make this sustainably Sungrown Canadian strain an exotic rarity for those who appreciate a low CBD, high THC experience.

Serratus

High THC strain, that produces cannabis with a terpene profile offering a mix of fruit and spice.

Our take on a Cannatonic strain is high in CBD and sativa leaning, with little to no THC. Sungrown in the heart of Canada’s cannabis capital and slow-cured to enhance flavour, terpenes, and increase potency. It’s a lime green explosion of fluffy soft buds that feature terpenes with a floral aroma and kicks of lemony sweetness. Our Cannatonic has undertones of earthy cedar and fresh rain, like the lush BC climate we call home. A great choice for a low-psychoactive user experience without sacrificing the rich aroma and appearance BC cannabis is known for.

Our Sungrown Cannatonic is a high CBD strain with low THC levels. This lime green BC Cannabis contains a terpene profile giving it a sour lemon rind scent.

Our Sungrown Blue Dream is a sativa leaning strain that has strong roots in the history of BC cannabis. It's a high THC, low CBD, strain that’s an evolution of a classic, Sungrown in Canada, celebrated worldwide. Dark green-grey in colour, the buds are structured like a lotus flower that’s been dusted by morning frost, with a terpene profile that is sweet and mellow. Slow-cured at a low temperature in our sustainable greenhouse facility to preserve the flavours of this uniquely BC cannabis strain. This process maintains the terpenes and enhances the flavours of sweet, blueberry syrup with hints of brown sugar and caramel.

Our own Sungrown interpretation of a Harlequin strain is a sativa leaning hybrid with a balance of CBD and THC. It’s rich forest green colour mimics the lush, BC landscape we call home, and the mild citrus profile is sustainably cultivated in our state of the art greenhouse, located in Canada’s cannabis heartland. Our slow curing process heightens flavour, preserves it’s unique terpenes, and packs some proper BC cannabis potency. The terpenes found in this balanced strain feature citrusy notes of blood orange, grapefruit, and apple. Well suited for any BC cannabis enthusiast and an ideal match for those who appreciate a balanced CBD strain.

Harlequin

Harlequin is a high CBD strain with historically low THC levels, Tantalus Labs’ variant contains a 1:2 THC:CBD ratio with hints of citrus zest.

Watersprite is an inherently BC cannabis strain, named after a cold, crystal clear lake in the traditional Squamish Nation territory north of Vancouver, BC, it’s still waters framed by dramatic peaks and fragrant spruce trees. Sungrown in Canada, this unique to Tantalus strain shares the properties of its namesake – the naturally fluffy buds unveil woodsy notes of cedar and pine, with reflections of lemon and citrus. With roots from the lineage of a Cannatonic strain, Watersprite features high levels of both THC and CBD, and the balanced cannabinoid profile is complemented by a clean burn – the result of pure inputs including full-spectrum sunlight and fresh, filtered rainwater.

Sherbet is unique because it’s a backcross (BX1). It was crossed and then bred back with the original Sherbet strain, to achieve a further stabilized expression of the desired traits. These traits include a sweet sugar aroma mixed with berries and gas, along with dense frosted buds in a rainbow of purple, green, and orange colour.
