Browsing through the local rec shop, my boyfriend - a US Marine Vet with a lot of back and muscle injury problems - was really hesitant to pick out a strain. He ended up settling on 9 Pound Hammer in a pre-roll and he has never looked back since. The high is extremely couch locking, but also uplifting and cures all of his muscle aches and pains. After a good night's sleep accompanied by a J of 9 LBS, he wakes up feeling like a brand new man. I personally don't suffer from very many aches or pains, but I can agree that after smoking this strain my body has never felt better.

This strain can be likened to its name, 9 pound hammer simply because of the fact that it smacks you in the face just like a heavy hammer. I could taste the pungent, earthy, and very diesel taste from the bag of my volcano. The effects hit me immediately and a very calming wave suddenly washed over me. I feel calm as if I don't have a care in the world-and very light and floaty feeling-I rely on medical cannabis heavily for pain and calming effects. This strain hits the nail on the head...

The concentrated version of 9Lb Hammer is one of the most effective pain relieving strains I've ever tried. This strain will leave you relaxed, worry free, and fairly alert for a heavy hitting indica. Not to mention it's delicious, sweet berry/grape flavor would please any user. Definitely worth picking up if you ever have the opportunity.

I just smoked 9 lb hammer right now for the third time. This is a great strain. I've never experienced a body melt like the one 9 lb hammer has given me. Muscles and limbs feel so relaxed. Body and mind feel so peaceful. Very very relaxed and comfortable. If you smoke a good amount you will get couch lock, which almost never happens to me except with this strain. This is a good and strong strain for insomnia. Makes you quite sleepy. This might be my new favorite indica strain. I rate this a 4.9 stars. Very happy with it.

I have severe ptsd-c, not combat or military related, and this helped immensely with my social anxiety and fear of public places. I did become quite chatty. A couple small pulls from my vape pen eased my feelings of hyper vigilance. I was also notably able to sit and eat food with another person, which often times causes too much anxiety and shame to build. I didn’t feel it at all, and I didn’t feel numb while eating. I actually tasted the food and didn’t feel like garbage after! :~)

When Trail Blazin's 9# Hammer hits me, I can feel my body slump and relax into whatever I'm sitting on. It's amazing!

LOVED this strain. This is my standard against which I compare all other indica smokes. Hits hard. Not for beginners or novice. Very trippy although you'll have to fight the urge to sleep. Once you get past that, very euphoric. Long lasting. Made me a fan of Subcool; now looking for their strains wherever I go.
