I love this High CBD (15%), low THC ( .6%) strain. It gives me some motivation without having to feel high. (If you smoke a lot of it, you will eventually get high) But this strain is good for low tolerance people as well who want the benefits of CBD.
when I find this strain at a club that cares about their cbd meds it's amazing but they run out quick. So I've had to go elsewhere for it and find variants of it to be harsh and overly peppery.
This strain is exceptional anxiety medicine. It feels like it just calms your nervous system down to the right level without sedation or mental inhibition. It's perfect if anxiety/stress/pain rears its ugly head during the daytime - it knocks it right out without a head high that could interfere with functioning. In higher doses it causes a nice relaxation that could ease stress and help before bedtime.
High CBD, low THC does NOT mean you are not high. With AC/DC, I feel good, even keeled, and happy. I don't feel "stoned," and I'm perfectly capable of functioning (doing hair for work AND typing this review!).
I picked this up for the pain relief qualities. My lower back was really hurting (sacroiliac joint, to be exact), so I took a couple hits before my morning shower. The pain has lessened significantly, though I am still aware of it. Probably a good strain for folks who need to function AND feel good.
So fun to smoke! It may be super-low on the THC scale but a tiny bit of "highness" accompanies the amazingly uplifting and nausea-eliminating Features of this high CBD strain. Great for when you start feeling agitated and stressed.
Why is this strain called ACDC? I have no idea. Name selections aside, I picked up .5g of ACDC from a dispensary here in Eugene (grown by High Mountain Organics) just to try it, and I'll be back for more. The friendly budtender who sold me on ACDC said it was good for when she "just wants to let go...ahh." This sounded good to me—and she was right. ACDC, with its high CBD content and almost no THC, brings on muscle relaxation for sure. But this is important—> *please don't assume that a strain with no psychoactive effects means you won't get high* —>letting go of tension feels really, really good—as does being more in the moment and not worrying. Get rid of all of the body/mind stress baloney, and you lift, you really do. It also helped me prepare for an hour-long psychic reading (I'm a certified psychic channel as well as meta-physician of feelgoodedness.) After a puff or two of ACDC, I landed more in the moment and connected to Earth, while relaxed enough to trust and let my intuition flow. Also worth mentioning: ACDC reportedly helps with MS, epilepsy, pain, and the side effects of chemotherapy. Wow!! And it's not snake oil either! Just a plant, a very kind plant. (Note: if you have some dishes to wash or something, and you want to jazz things up, you could mix this strain with, say, a high THC sativa such as Jack Herer or a high THC hybrid energizer such as Pineapple.)
........ I shared my ACDC with a friend who usually avoids marijuana—he says most pot makes him paranoid, anxious, and muddles his mind at work the next day. Not the case with ACDC he said. He was impressed. For me, ACDC didn't bring on any paranoia (essential), was not particularly munchie-producing (semi-essential), and I felt relaxed while not falling immediately into a long winter's nap (important, because I wanted to write this review). Overall, a splendid strain that I'll keep in my medicine cabinet. I'll call it "Let Go" though, instead of ACDC. Just sayin.'

***My older sister introduced me to pot when I was in the 6th grade in the 70s. I didn't get high—apparently I didn't inhale. After that I didn't smoke much pot until recreational marijuana was miraculously legalized in Oregon in 2015. Now I write reviews on Leafly.***
I suffer from Ocd, it made it much worse. I contacted grower and was told the information was is incorrect and is usually a 1:1 ratio.
