Wow! I don't recommend it if you want to be productive. I'm a regular user of cannabis and I still couch locked with this strain but it's insane for gaming or watching movies! I passed the joint with friends around a campfire and we were talkative before most of them knocked out even if they are stoners. Nobody had a bad trip nor paranoia it's really a good high! The Afghani I had wasn't for beginners I don't know how much was the THC pourcentage but it gave me very big high. Will buy it again and again and again!
Good and relaxing Indica. Not likely to get paranoid or anxious, but affects are mild. May need to vape a bit more for really sleepy affects.
Dont let lower THC%s stop you. This is a TOP NOTCH indica. Mine was 16.2% a common Afghan % and grown at dispensary. It topped many indicas with much higher THC content. Very relaxing. Great for pain. Great for sleep. Just a great, classic bud.
This strain is one of the best ever. I served in Afghanistan, and joke that its the one good thing to come out of there! It is visually appealing, dense, fat and glistening with trichomes. The smoke is spicy, and reminded me very much of the Afghan highlands (no pun intended). The high will have you blissfully couched locked, and eventually settle into a deep sleep. Highly recommended for PTSD to veterans.
Absoultely bangin high
5 yrs since I broke my neck * and this strain helps most of the time with calming down my mind so I can lose the tension in my shoulders. It has a warming effect for me, right where my inflammation is. Not sure if that's good or bad. It is usually slow-acting for me, and I have to either vaporize or smoke at least 2 rounds to get positive effects.
It's not too strong like other Indicas can get. No buzzy, vibrating feeling in the limbs. No tingly sensations. No arousal or spike of creativity. No overwhelming slam into the forehead. It can help with nausea by smoking, but not often. It is actually one of the only strains that helps me with nausea sometimes by just smelling the pressed buds. It is great for PMS. Helps cramps and pissed-off babes.
Others and I've only had a few negatives with Afghani. One, it doesn't numb the pain enough for my situation. Two, it gives my husband headaches most of the time. And finally, it's just not the heavy hitter I was expecting.
Still a great strain, especially for a social and night-time medication.
One of my favs for bedtime! This one doesn't take much to make you feel incredibly relaxed and pain free. All you have to do next, is to melt into your pillow for great nights sleep. Right up there with my other favourite night night med Master Kush.
One of my favorite indicas--in da couch!
