Light green to almost yellow with a fair covering of Trichomes... Sweet tree fruit type taste ( you can see why its called banana og). The high is euphoric and relaxing like OG should. Overall its a very good strain in this area of Colorado (south) 4.5 out of 5

i've been seeing banana og all over the place in la and i was kind of skeptical that it was a fad strain. but i found a great deal on a dispensary's house live resin so i decided to check it out. this strain is fantastic. it tastes like bananas in a very earthy way, which i really enjoy because i was worried it would be like banana candy. (i used live resin in a vaporizer so i can't speak to how harsh flower might be.) beyond the great taste, the high from this strain is unreal. it's blissful and dreamy in the head and tension-relieving in the body. my favorite part of the high is that it comes in waves - one second you're just chilling, the next you're euphoric and your body is sinking into the couch. this is the perfect strain after work or when you're spending a night in with friends.

Not many growers, grow this bud perfectly. I have tried many not so satisfying Banana OG’s from clinics, and I wasn’t a fan of the strain at all. Fortunately for me, I have a coworker/good friend who gets this strain straight from the man who genetically crossed this strain and perfected its grow himself. And wow! This strain looks, taste, and smells amazing from inhale to exhale. The buds should be fluffy, perfectly caked in crystals, and yet still nicely dense when you squeeze it. And the smell is sweet, literally like bananas. Sad to see so many growers not using their full potential on what could be such a beautiful strain. When you do come across a nice grow from this strain, it will surely give you that super stoney type of high.

This is a great strain for taking the edge off but still being able to function. It's great for day time use to keep my anxiety down but my mood up. Helps me stay on point but not overly stress. Plus with three rambunctious kids it's been a great mood relaxer so I am not so "up tight" all the time and tense. I don't feel the "high" part like with some others but it does it's job keeping me relaxed which is exactly what I need for an intensely stressful job and family life right now.

This strain definitely creeps up on you. I love it for when I need to catch some sleep, and I love it for a night out on the town with my friends. It blends in perfectly with what you are doing. Ive felt this strain as a heavy indica dominant, then other times Ive felt it as a sativa dominant. So I guess its pretty much up to what you are doing while smoking this strain.

Okay...being mONkEy you might think that I have nothing but good to say about this one. I have GREAT things to say about this one but let us start with the negative first. If you are smoking this one is is HARD on the lungs. I am no novice to inhaling smoke and this one was a choker. Also be prepared for the next negative which is also a positive. It is one of the strongest body highs I have EVER experienced. I first tried this on the heels of some Blue Dream so I was set to get some things done...Nope. Food, watch movie, sleep, movie watch me. This is a GREAT "time to go to sleep" strain. It did not take much for this effect to occur. Which is good given the "choking hazzard" effect of burning this strain.

Not sure what I was expecting out of this one. I have a pretty high tolerance, and was hoping for something to chill to at night. Sleep/wake cycle is thrown off considerably so that could have something to do with it. This review covers about 8-9 hours. //////// Faint flowery scent. //////// Disposition: been hitting diesel wax sativa earlier. Pretty chill. Well rested. //////// Rig: I’m aiming for mostly THC as its late and I’d like to sleep but not chill too low. So I’m using a Fuze Air 2 vaporizer at 350°. //////// First hit: Nothing really at first. Got clouds out of the vaporizer fine. A little fuzzy after ten minutes.//////// Second hit: Increase to 365° pulling in some cbds. Feeling relaxed and at ease. Chill. Numbing in the limbs a smidge which is helping with some joint pain from the gym.//////// I switched back and forth between flower in an 18" pipe rig, some vaporizer action, and it took a long time to really feel it. Don’t think I’d have any trouble falling asleep on this, but I'm also feeling pretty chill after having slept all day.

Everything that is written in the main description is correct. Very citrusy and spicy scent with an after flavor of ripe banana when exhaling the smoke. The description about the effects are on point too. This strain creeps up on you and does make you feel like you are in a heavily stoned state. One of the most potent strains I have ever had. You will want to eat like you never have before. I wish I could be at a buffet right now. Make sure you smoke only after you do your business. This will put you out lol.
