This medicine hit me hard man, didn't think the Big Buddha Cheese would be this potent.
Picked it up at Oakland Organics (Organicann) in Downtown Oakland, California and it tested at 12.4% THC and 0.3% CBD, thought that was relatively low for a Sativa dominant hybrid so I picked it up.
Hit it once out of my pipe and I could instantly (like within 20-30 seconds feel the uplifting effect) In low doses, this medicine is GREAT for Depression.
After my initial first hit out of the pipe, decided to roll aout a .8 gram joint of it, 2 hits and I was flying. This has to be some of the trippiest weed I have smoked. Music sounded so amazing and I felt very floaty.
I am used to smoking indicas so this shit blew me away at how psychadelic it can get. when you get your hands on a good Sativa.
When I got really high (after about 3 fat hits from the joint) I experienced some strong paranoia and anxiety, mad it not fun for awhile but eventually I got used to it and enjoyed the high.
Best smoked out of a pipe to get the cleaner more cerebral effect.
Pro's: Uplifting, Trippy, Visual, Strong Enhancement of Senses
Cons: Slight paranoia and anxiety from low doses (Not as much as other Sativas though, less anxiety than Super Lemon Haze or Super Silver Haze)
Amazing medicine now, one of my favorites!
Don't remember pain scale as it's been a decent couple of days as far as pain. But my nausea has been ridiculous. My anxiety has been was well. Medicated round 1330 or so. Takes bout 10 min to start working (I think, lol). Nausea/pain gone. Anxiety bearable so dis strain helped quite a bit with that to. Body high allowed me to eat which is exactly what I wanted. Head high a lil heavy for a productive (or what was supposed to be) Saturday, lol! But did not put me to sleep either which was nice as it's way too damn early for bed. High lasted bout 3 hours which was nice. I'd highly recommend for after work/evening use for pain/nausea/anxiety! :-)
I picked up half gram of Big Buddha Cheese in cured resin wax. I normally rate my experience with a strain on a simple scale 1 thru 10, 10 being the best. I break it into aroma, flavor, and potency.
Aroma 9/10
I can smell the cheese smell everyone mentions, however it's very faint - not sure if it's because I got the wax. There's something familiar about it, I'm sure I've had one of the parent strains.
Flavor 8/10
The flavor was on the bland & generic side. Notes of an earthy cheesey musk taste.
Potency 10/10
Like many other patients, my tolerance sky rocketed once I started dabbing. When I picked it up I was skeptical, very few concentrates can give me the relief I need before I have to stop dabbing because my throat hurts so much. Not this strain. BBC can be used anytime of day I've used it to get me going in the morning, and at night to calm my brain.
Effects of the strain left me feeling at peace with the world. I felt happy & ready to take on the day. I heard this strain was good for depression, and doesn't give users anxiety.
I feel like I know why the Buddha smiles, because he smokes the Big Buddha Cheese!
Hands down my weed of choice when it comes to having a smoke by myself at home to chill out. I regularly come up with new ideas when I smoke this and also makes my music listening experience on spotify so much better. It has a great taste and the smell really reminds me of the coffeeshops in Amsterdam
Pick some up from NaturalSolutions in LBC. Tested almost 20%. good buzz, smell and taste
I have smoked a good half the strained on here and I have to say that I have never experienced this level of euphoria as I am right now I have smoked like 30 joints with my long time weed smoking friends and I can say that we are all on a very happy tingly calm chatty mood definitely one of the best highs out there for any novice or experience weed smoker like myself. No side affects like nausea or pain. If I had to say one bad thing it would be that no amount of liquid can remove this dry mouth but overall totally worth it. Great weed.
One of my all time favorite strains, the BBC has a distinctive smell that can never be forgotten. My friend had acquired some after a trip to Amsterdam and the seed quickly turned into a tree. The buds are fluffier than most buds, but heavy and resinous. More along the yellow/ brown spectrum, I was worried that this was a bad strain, or at least a bad grow. This changed the moment I smoked it. The cheesy smell translated well to the taste, with very heavy "dank" aftertaste that lingers. The sticky buds create a thick lung- expanding smoke that causes a chronic tickle. The high has a gentle liftoff that plateaus into a comfortable energy and focus, perfect for tasks like video games or a jam session. It is uplifting and stony at the same time, which makes this hybrid a flexible strain. Beyond everything else, the distinct smell/ taste combo sets this strain apart from comparable ones. I'm always happy to come across Big Buddha Cheese.
Don't remember pain scale as this was last nite. Medicated round 2030 or 2100 so I could go to sleep. Nausea bad (6). This takes botu 5-10 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. Head high heavy which is what I wanted. Body high exactly what I needed as well. Went to sleep fast. No anxiety/paranoia (a must for me). Highly recommend for nighttime use for pain/nausea/insomnia. :-)
