I'm a complete newbie to this entire world. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm an Indica or Sativa kind of girl and I have no idea how many hits is too little or too much. What I do know is that I probably should not have hit this 5 times. Noted. Taste is pretty good, my nose feels like its slipping off my face but I'm not upset about it. It's helping my depression and a bad case of bursitis in my shoulder.

Made me very happy and relaxed but not tired

Acquired from Santa Cruz Mountain Naturals, this batch is incredibly dense with a mellow, grassy, blueberry muffin and grapefruit aroma. Probably a great smoke before breakfast. Dense. So dense as to be almost hard to the touch. Trichromes glitter on the surface attractively against the army green of the leaf. Med sized orange hairs cover the surface fairly abundantly, moreso than is apparent in other strains. Ground up aromas erupt like sending a lawnmower through a blueberry patch. The smell is absolutely mouthwatering. To the eye, the ground up flower is fairly plain and fluffy, lacking any hints of purple leaning instead towards a pleasant, uniform green throughout. The texture is just right, not too dry, not too wet, sticky enough to notice but not enough to make it a pain to roll up. Consumed from a glass pipe, the smoke is surprisingly lacking in blueberry until the finish. Tasting more like watermelon, roasted almond and mowed lawn, the smoke is light and satisfying with no rough entrance or exit. Blue Dream lacks the typical immediate head rush and couch lock of most Indicas and favors the recipient with more active waves of body high that make you want to write a novel or do something nice for your girlfriend. An excellent activity smoke although not particularly strong. Turn out it would be GREAT to pair with breakfast.

I am a newbie and this is my first rating. I am not even sure I rated this strain right. I love this strain and so far it's the best one I have experienced. I like the uplifting and happy effect it gives me. I smile ALOT on this strain which could be a good thing, but also a bad thing, being a dead giveaway that I am stoned. But who cares, I love to smile and I'd rather smile than not, right? It is easy to function and I like doing outdoorsy things while on this strain. It's not a super euphoric buzz, but just a couple of hits is all I need to be where I want to be inside. I'm not great at noticing tastes yet, and don't like smoking it but until I get a vaporizer, this will be the way I ingest the medication. I will also tell you that I used to be on prescription drugs and decided to try this way of treating PTSD, depression and anxiety and I am having better results when I don't over medicate. I am learning to just take a few hits and wait before taking in anymore. Two hits of BD keeps me going almost 8 hours before I take anymore. But when I have taken more it doesn't seem to impair me too much, but does make me feel a bit paranoid and drive slower than I normally would drive. I hope this review helps someone!

Excited to try it since the euphoria factor was so high however i wasn't totally impressed. The first night I smoked it, the high was very cerebral...like no body high at all. It was like I was playing a movie in my head. I even hallucinated mildly (like where you see something in your head and it seems like it's right in front of you). My first smoke had me thinking and talking to myself so hard that I started going 'darkside' with my thoughts. The next few times though I had a blast with it. Moderate munchies and ready for sleepy-time but not after at least a couple hours of a nice high. Like I said, I just didn't care for that initial high. Bring some Visine tho...my eyes are always super red no matter how much of this stuff I toke!

My 2nd favorite strain of all time hands down! great for any occasion. Hanging with friends, Coachella, Jam Sessions, Traveling, even just relaxing. I've picked up blue dream from a few places (LAXCC, TCHLAX, Nile Collective, Hollywood 3AM, etc) so i've had a good variety of the crop, it's very dynamic!

This is great for my fibromyalgia, and helps with my "fibro fog", my insomnia, and my pain. It is more affordable in my area, and is my bread and butter daily medicine to treat my condition. Nice taste, not harsh, and a sativa cerebral high with the indica pain reducing effects; but no sleepiness, I stay alert on this. I recommend this strain.
