Can't remember why I picked up an eighth of Bonkers but at some pointe I evidently did. Bonkers doesn't smell too strong and it grinds up decently. I use a vaporizer and it is fairly smooth and not harsh when inhaling. slow, steady drags tend to work the best. The high you get from Bonkers is pleasant. It quickly puts you in a relaxed state of mind and worries tend to fade away.
I found that if I used this strain to end the night and get ready for bed it let me drift off as my head hit the pillow. It also seem to keep me from midnight snacking.
I'd pick it up again but there are better strains out there that pack a much bigger punch.
Seasoned vet here with extreme high tolerance and this by far one of the most recommended and enjoyable strain far as flavor and potency so hang on for one hell of a ride
Very pleasant experience. A balanced head and body feel. Focused and relaxed. No anxiety or paranoia. Great for a later afternoon or evening smoke to bring you down from a day at work. Helped alienate soreness in the muscles. I Liked it so much I went back and got another eighth.

Had the Veritas Bonkers testing at 25.43% and I love it, so much so that I’m writing my first ever leafly review. I felt the need to give a personal opinion since I had trouble finding information about this strain. The bud smells AMAZING, it is very citrusy and pungent. The high is feel-good and uplifting— I find myself singing, humming, or dancing to random tunes or songs popping into my head. I can feel its hybrid properties in that the energizing feels are balanced by a relaxed body high that is not draggy or heavy. Overall it’s a really great strain and I will definitely be getting it again!
I have a high tolerance and am an experienced cannabis user. I picked up .5G prerolls of Bonkers and the smell was nothing special but the smoke was smooth and easy—a perfect ride and much smoother compared to a cart which was surprising for a joint. The ‘high’ does not last long and is not super pronounced, but this shouldn’t make you stray from trying Bonkers. I was hit with a nice pressure in my head and a total wave of relaxation came over me. It is the kind of calm that is sweet enough to lock you to the couch or pleasant enough to help motivate you to pull weeds in the garden for the next 45 minutes. The head pressure and ‘target object’ way of going through life lasts 30 minutes or so to just a pleasant sense of calm and relax. The relax and calm lasts for a good hour or so after the pressure effects wear off but the entire experience is over in about 1.5-2hrs for me. Helps me manage my OCD symptoms and get relief from my anxiety tho. Great for day or night time use.
I love it! Helps with everything I have problems with. I’m a seasoned smoker so it takes a lot for me to find a strain that gives the full relief I need from the many ailments I have…and that is why I am writing my very first review about a cannabis strain for this specific strain. Bonkers is out of this world and has given me my life back. Perfection.
Found this strain about 3 months ago, and it’s a regular for me. I would say it’s well named, but not in a bad way. It’s intense, but not in a bad way. Promotes focus and creativity, especially if it’s something I already enjoy. Great for binging entire seasons or gaming, but I don’t mean it’s couch lock-ish. Also good for activity like cleaning your house or running errands. (A buddy told me he took a bong rip and dug up rocks from his back yard for hours.)
It’s a good afternoon or after dinner strain. It starts in a focused energetic way that blends into a hungry phase which, and it’s final period is a nice mellowness. Very little sleepiness or worn out tiredness. For me it’s about 1.5–2 hours that you get the most good out of it.
But the strain (grown by Curio) does not have the lineage as listed above. The dispensary said this Bonkers was a cross of the legendary Blue Dream x a Ruderalis, which (I had to learn) is another genus of cannabis that is neither Sativa nor Indica. For me I can clearly perceive the Blue Dream side of the hybrid, but can’t comment much of ruderalis traits because Bonkers is the only time I’ve used it.
Negatives I would say most of all this did not help with pain. It might have even made pain a little more noticeable, but more in an ache way than a hurt way. Also, beginners should consume in small amounts, because it does have a pretty high concentration of THC, over 25%. (And because of this it’s an exceptional kief producer). More specifically, I would personally avoid Bonkers if I’m going to see live music or play music. I’m a drummer and I dance a lot. For whatever reason, that I don’t know why, Bonkers seems to affect my rhythm. I would be willing to bet it would not be a good strain for athletic activities either. As I said, it’s motivating and not couch locky, so I can’t put my finger on why it does this. It’s the strangest quirk of a strain I’ve ever encountered.
Top Terpines: overall low, b-Caryophyllene .28%; Myrcene .20% and Limonene .22%
Flavors I can’t comment on because I use a sploofy almost all the time. But aromas are citrus, floral, sweet and a touch of earthy like cut grass. No real diesel or gas, maybe some slight sour.
Buds are very nice, well formed, and full. Not dense, but full. And covered in trichomes.
It’s the strain that got me comfortable enough with cannabis to get out there and try strains other than the big time well known fan favorites.

Hate the taste and smell. I feel like I'm smoking a Lipton tea bag.
