I'm going to give you two experiences I had with Bruce Banner, one good, one bad.
First off, the bad experience. For about 3 weeks, me and my partner were smoking Delta 8 Flower. The highs were definitely less intense, cant really say I felt "high" more than twice during those 3 weeks. But finally, we got our hands on some real pot. A friend brought over some Bruce Banner, and rolled a fat joint. Now for context, I've been smoking for only around 3 months. And like I said, I had been using Delta 8 bud for the past 3 weeks. Knowing this, I should've been more careful my first time back to regular pot, but hey, hindsight 20/20 right? Me, my partner, and my friend shared the joint, and still only ended up getting about 60% through it. The first 10 minutes I didn't feel much, until it hit like a frieght train. I felt dizzy, it was hard to stand, and my mind was racing. My vision narrowed, and there was an intense ringing in my ears. I sat down and began to panic abit.
After about a minute of that, I dry heaved and threw up a bit of saliva. I did this one more time before going to the toilet, and doing it 2 more times. During that time, I broke out in an intense sweat and was experiencing closed-eye hallucinations. It was a scary experience, but after about 30 minutes, I evened out and began to relax. Surprisingly, I actually ended up enjoying the rest of the high. It left me feeling happy, hazy, and mentally stimulated. That was my first experience with this strain, and I can't say I blame the strain for my reaction. It has an insanely high THC content, and that was my first time smoking genuine pot in 3 weeks. And from a joint no less, that I probably got 5 or 6 hits from. So yeah, in that sense, maybe don't pick this one as your first strain you smoke ever. And if you do, go extremely slow.
But what about the good story? Well, the next morning me and my partner shared a pipe. Remembering the hell I went through the night before, I was curious to try again, but very cautious. I took 3 decent sized hits and then left it at that. Within 5 minutes, I felt euphoric and tingly. It's weird it set on so quick, as it usually takes 10-15 minutes for me to start feeling the heaviness of a high. The peak of the high was still a little intense, but nothing like the night before. In fact, it was fun! Incredibly strong head buzz both physically and mentally. It smells lovely, and tastes pretty good to boot. The buds are super dense, so you get plenty of bang for your buck.
So, what's my verdict? Bruce Banner is a great strain, but handle with care. Especially if you're a new smoker or prone to anxiety. I see Banner being good for depression mainly, maybe not as much anxiety due to the intensity of the high. Go slow, maybe only take a few good hits, then leave it alone for 15-ish minutes. See how you feel, smoke more if needed. 3 good hits off of a bowl had me throughly stoned for a good hour, with residual effects lasting much longer. I probably stopped feeling high after about 3 hours, but the residual happiness and energy stayed for hours afterwards.
TL;DR - Bruce Banner is an incredibly strong strain, and could likely knock a seasoned smoker on their ass. It's fantastic and a good high both for medical purposes and for recreational use. Just handle with care.
I was hesitant because I usually don't like hybrids but this one is very nice. After reading the info here and elsewhere I was expecting to be floored but the total THC on this is 20.3 and not as high as reviews suggested (25 and up). However, the initial buzz has you staring into space lol and then your mind start creating. Perfect time to put lights on tree because I am pain free with no anxiety. Would recommend.
Honestly one of the best strains I've ever had. I smoked this in the morning after I woke up, and it was honestly one of the best morning highs I've ever had. Extreme cotton mouth and food tastes fabulous.
I bought this for the first time a few days ago, after previously reading reviews and adding it to my girlfriend's growing "To Try" list. This morning was my first chance to smoke it without already being stoned on something else. (I've really enjoyed what it added on top of XJ-13, and the grind I made last night--15% Bruce Banner, 20% J1, 65% Harle-Tsu--is phenomenal!) I'm a highly introspective person, so sativas can make me very anxious. I've only taken 3 hits over a few hours, but the bong I used has an extra attachment that works as a third chamber and lets you take huge rips. My tolerance is relatively high, so it was a perfect balance. My mind is going places, but the indica effects are very chill and keep it from racing. I'm focused, engaged, and clear-headed. I'm in a good mood and feel like I can face the world, impending Trump presidency and all. I feel hopeful and capable and like I can bring forth positivity and good change. My interactions with my girlfriend are logical and direct; we've had several productive conversations today about things we need to get done. And it's going on our list of the Best Sex Strains; it caused me to crave constant touch, and one thing led to another... We're two ladies who love weed and love trying new strains, and Bruce Banner is going to become one of our staples.
what an amazing wake and bake strain! low-key, mellow buzz that makes chores fun and all the light more beautiful. no headache, paranoia, or bad vibes. my partner and i are obsessed with this strain...
i use cannabis to treat fibromyalgia and another chronic pain issue, but i have avoided smoking anything with THC regularly because i usually experience headaches from most weed... not this! i can comfortably use this daily and not experience negative side effects. while it's not as pain-relieving as other strains i've tried (it does not help with uterine cramps, but works for my nerve pain), it's the only strain i can use daily, which has changed my life. it also counters nausea from my other medications perfectly!

Wonderfull buzz I took a five star shit after smoking
Really fabulous, anti-depressant strain. Pure, glorious, sunny joy, that just lifts you up from the doldrums and takes you far away from the stress. God what a magical plant.
I totally understand the universal appeal of this beauty, because it's so pleasant, relaxing, and overwhelming calming. Happiness, goodness, love, calm, peace, kind, and light. Time slows down to a succession of gorgeous moments. No better strain to watch a sunset than B.B. or to attend a classical music concert. So chill, so good. Bruce Banner, I love you man.
Caution: a friend of mine took way too much of this strain and ended up super paranoid and cowering in a dark corner for a few hours. Remember, good weed is good in moderation!
Hit this from the bong. Immediately made all my responsibilities disappear. It also made me super productive and functional. I have ADHD, so this actually helped me focus and do the things I set out to.
But man, this has made me feel like nothing is that big of deal. And it’s okay to just relax. Definitely recommend for anyone with anxiety or ADHD.
