As a new medical patient, this strain was my first experience with cannabis. The smell of the bud is quite nice, it has grapefruit/citrus high notes with a lower note of a pine forest in the fall. It sounds odd, but it smells like a freshly cleaned bathroom.
This strain gave me no high feelings what so ever. The only feeling I could notice was a sense of calm and relaxation. I have a lower back injury that gives me immense pain, especially nerve pain down my legs. After one draw I notice that the inflammation in my body is reduce greatly and I'm not in resting pain. It doesn't block the pain, but it does help relieve a contributing factor to the pain. It also appears to be relieving my IBS symptoms.
The reason I gave it 4 stars is because it can leave me feeling as if I just ate Thanksgiving dinner; the feeling of a turkey coma looming.
I would recommend this to anyone struggling with pain caused by inflammation or anxiety. It is also a fantastic medicinal beginners strain.
This is not your run of the mill strain. Very high in CBD. Typically low psychoactive and makes you very focused. Great for pain and definitely worth a try. Peace. FriendKen.
Highly effective with PTSD, pain and anxiety.
Still running experiments with cancer, will keep you posted.
I have horrible headaches and have been on narcotics which I am sick to death of taking. The headaches stem from my neck which gives me a lot of pain also. I was surprised how well Cannatonic worked for me. I use it in my vaporizer and had good relief. I wasn't looking to get "high" though I did get some, mostly I got relaxed and good pain relief.
The perfect 50/50 hybrid. Best of both worlds. Great for pain, does not give you couch lock, and still heady and Euphoric.
This is defiantly the best strain for my chronic pain. This batch tested at 13% thc and a whopping 9.6% cbd. the terpins are quite pleasantly citrus/pine mixture. leaving me with an overwhelming sense of relaxed mussels while getting nerve pain at the same time
After my regular place ran our of my staples I ventured off on a quest for the highest cbd I could find locally.
Found 1 place in town with decent prices, nah they are kick ass prices for a high cbd. The stuff I got was very low thc and 14% CBD.
Got home and ground a small amount and hit the roller with it.
Kind of harsh but enjoyable, muscle spasms are gone, and it is working on the pain.
Very chill, very relaxing and very pain management without giving you the stupids.
This is the best strain I have ever found for pain. It just melts away! If I want to have the psychoactive effect I do a 50/50 mix with another strain (usually indica). I've never found anything that compares. I recommend this strain to anyone in pain.
