I’ve learned to divide my favourite strains as “group appropriate vs best solo” and this strain definitely fits under the “group” category. I buy Hexo’s Sierra, which is a rebranded version of this strain. It’s got a nice amount of CBD, which feels like it helps ground this experience making it suitable for groups of all tolerance levels. My friends jokingly call it the “giggly weed” because it turns us all quite social and lighthearted. If you’re a seasoned toker looking to be wowed... definitely check elsewhere. This is going to be leaving you thinking, “wait that was it?”.

This is an amazing strain for pain without the strong psychotropic effects of a high the strain. I love this strain before bed when I’m feeling a little achy or stressed. Mellow buzz hits and then my chest relaxes, get kinda warm and fuzzy.... all in the world is right and my bed is a bowl of feathers. Really lovely relaxing strain.

I smoke a little weed very often to get CBD then I toke other stuff to get blazed, so I usually have a hard time determining the more subtle points of a low THC strain. Recently, I was without cannabis for a month due to business travel. I realised two things: a) CBD helps a lot with my muscle/nerve pain in my back. b) Cannatonic is a really good weed for low back pain. The best part is that it doesn't taste completely awful like many of the other high CBD strains. All the different grows of Cannatonic that I've tried have a kinda bland earthy taste with maybe a little tar or tabacco-ish flavor in there. The smell is kind of similar - earthy, skunky, a little citrus(?) - but not a "nice" smelling bud compared to most recreational strains. I really appreciate that Cannatonic only gets me a little high, even on my first toke in weeks, the sensation is subtle, comfortable. I feel a little fuzzy but not tired or lethargic. My back pain and spasms are calmed considerably. A great feeling to get me into some Yoga poses and loosen up my aching joints... Happy toking, my dudes!

Good pain relief. Took the inflammation down in my joints. I have rheumatoid arthritis, have noticed a decent benefit. Tastes good.

The particular phenotype that I'm writing about here is 'Cannatonic #3', and the cannabinoid percentages are very similar to the original but the terpenenoid content is reported as being close to 4%, and I don't doubt that it is. It's definitely loud and the scent profile is not only strong but very pleasant and distinct as well. The sweet citrus smell dominates and hits your olfactory receptors first, followed by a more complex and hard to describe rich and earthy and possibly woody aroma. A gorgeous scent I've yet to see matched by any other flower I've tried, which is a lot. The taste is similar and the overpowering sharpness of the citrus smooths out the flavor, cutting any harshness and lingering in the back of the mouth and throat for a while after a hit. As great as the flavor is on these magnificently bred and grown sticky green nuggets, it's the effect profile that really shines with this sympathetic strain. It seems to feel your pain and gives you exactly what you were looking for. Relief comes fast, releasing any tension and leaving the muscles limp and joints feeling new again thanks to the CBD and terpene profile's strong anti-inflammatory properties. The mind is left similarly at ease as the stress and anxiety quickly dissolve away, leaving you blissfully carefree and pain free but without the uncontrollable fixations and mind wandering caused by higher THC levels for many of us. I prefer using it at night due to the sedative effects I experience, but most report it to be a functional daytime flower due to the relatively lower THC content. Cannatonic is the ultimate medicinal cultivar out of all I've sampled to date. The effects are everything I'm looking for and it checks all the boxes for smell, taste, and experience in a plant bred for medicinal use as a pain reliever, whether physical or emotional/cognitive. Perfect for a user with a lower tolerance looking for strong overall relief of any type of discomfort. Rarely do we encounter such a well rounded specimen of cannabis perfection that smells and tastes amazing, cures all that ails, and leaves you blissfully content with the world and yourself.

Migraines are a huge problem for me sometimes. Either induce by overly tight neck muscles or the pressure change when it rains. Cannatonic was soooooo helpful for the pain. I was waking up every morning with pain so bad I was dizzy and nauseated but about 10 minutes after vaping Cannatonic the pain was gone. And it was perfect because I could still get work done after. Highly recommend for pain management.

Sweet flavor, smooth and mellow high, euphoric and relaxing. I'm a melty puddle of happiness after smoking this strain!
