I finally tried the legendary cannatonic. Not an easy strain to find in ca. I see why this is seen as one of the best medical strains ever. It relaxes your body and mind to the point where you feel like your on some kind of real medication. I don't have issues with pain but if I did this would have taken it away. Very good for pain and stress. Makes me feel really lazy and kinda slow. Body feels like jello but not in a good way for me personally. Makes me feel a little uncomfortable almost. I don't like the feeling of a complete jello body, but I could see how this is great medicine for ppl with real pain and other medical issues. I rate this a high 3 stars because of the potential medicinal effects, but it's not my Cup tea.
Btw this strain tested at about 9% cbd and 4.5% thc. Maybe a different ratio of cannatonic would be to more to my liking. I will keep my eyes open.
Helped with severe pain.
If you’re looking to feel mellow and relaxed, this is for you :)
Very mellow high depending on how much you smoke. Works wonderful for Anxiety & depression b. Put you in a light blissful happy euphoric mood and music and creativity enhance. Great for beginners.
it gives me a mild high combined with a gentle sense of relaxation.
I have no paranoia and normally I am functioning again after a couple of hours. (Despite still being able to feel "the breeze")
I original grew this one at home for my wife, since she enjoys more of the low THC strains with CBD…her tolerance is pretty low and she prefers a milder high.
Cannatonic was easy to grow and a single plant yielded about 4 ounces of dry weight bud. I processed most of it into a cannabis oil using Dr. Bronners coconut oil. Tried it a couple of times and this stuff is anything but weak. Based on my calculations, a teaspoon of this stuff should be about 11 mg of THC and 20 mg of CBD. I consume it at night, with a teaspoon or more dissolved in herbal tea, and it knocks me out. At first, I get a nice head high that lasts about an hour, and then a nice body buzz sets in that out a me to sleep. No negative effects in the morning…a cup of green tea and I’m ready to go with no residual buzz. This is an excellent, mild, and strain that produces a mellow, relaxed high. Perfect for a weekday night when you’re stressed and need to sleep.
After about a week, I noticed a couple hits throughout the day reduced involuntary movements, spasticity and therefore pain, yet I only feel slightly high for a bit. This was a Indica.
I tried another Cannatonic, but it seemed to interfere with my sleep when used throughout the day and did not help as well. They said it was a Stativa, which explain things. ;-)
This strain was not for me... It made me extremely impulsive and anxious and only gave me tiny bit of additional focus. I ended up cutting my hair on this strain because for some reason it looked uneven in my daze.... I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with anxiety or anyone who is impulsive to begin with.
