Always get a special feeling when getting to try a landrace strain. The feeling is one of respect as if getting to meet a an old movie star that has been around since the beginning of time. One of the originals that have had to survive the elements since before Christ was born. Ancient. Cher if she were a strain of weed. lol
No, No, No I digress I meant more like big foot or the lochness monster. Durban Poisin, Northern Lights, Afghani, as well as Chocolate Thai. Never got to see this strain in bud form because it was a discounted gram of shake. The leftover shake was a low percentage 9.7% with a bit of CBD 2.3%, but really had no concern with that just wanted to try some Chocolate Thai.
The leaf was a dark brown hue that was very similar to brown schwag brickweed from the east coast. You know the kind that sometimes smells like dryer sheets cause that is what they wrap it in to smuggle it? This smelled nothing like that though. It was spicy and sharp to smell almost making me want to jerk my nose away.
Being that it was a neat peppery tasting smoke that was a little harsh on throat. It did make me cough a whole heck of a lot. But on the other side of that hacking and giggling followed by more coughing was a huge perma-grin. The euphoria that comes with this strain is phenomenal lasting a good 2-3 hours with only a few tokes. It was a mystical smoke that at times had me feeling so good I might as well have been smoking a bowl with Jesus. Or Cher......

This is one of, if not the best strain I've EVER smoked. Haven't had true Chocolate Thai since the early 90's! Would love some more....
Honestly not a bad high at all! R
relaxed & uplifted1
Nice dark flavor
I'd give it a nice 4 1/2 stars

super bonne weed, je suis un consommateur de Sativa mais comme celle la jamais!
I love this cultivar, I felt super energized and motivated for training and focus. This is one of my favorites :)
I'm rediscovering landrace sativa the buds of this are very compact , the potency of cannabinoid are quite high , the aroma and taste are wonderful and long lasting in the mouth you can notice aroma of very fresh sweet chocolate and cookies with a floral note and she is so smooth to vape no harsh, the effect take time to come (it's a sativa :) it come so smooth and gently you gonna be euphoric and motivated to do ting it's giving energy and in the same time its relax you ita an absolute beast vs anxiety or depression symptoms amazing discovery 😁
This elusive strain is a "Blast from the Past"...
Chocolate Thai unless grown in a tropical environment is a low-yield and lower THC contender compared to modern strains. I would give 5 stars if it were consistently available. But this legend can be appreciated and is a favorite!
A landrace Sativa, it also has classic Indica results as it is dank, musty, and aromatic. Cru has a great example that reminds me of the original. Others are experimenting with this strain. Just remember that Chem Dog hails from similar lineage, and like its cousin, Nepali, is the greatest example of why true Thai is a jewel.
Awesome flavor and sky high sativa effect. A connoisseur's classic strain.
