I just got this strain yesterday and I've smoked it twice now. I like it, but it is a very strange sensation to me. I should preface that by saying that I am an 'Indica girl' through and through. This is one of the few times I've decided to get a Sativa leaning hybrid.
The taste is very good - 'clean'. I can pick up the woodiness and the citrus notes, but I'm not an expert. I almost don't feel high, yet my senses and awareness seem much more acute. I am calm and at ease, without feeling compelled to do things. I would say it is a great strain for writing, drawing, painting (any crafty, or artistic thing) and probably gaming. LOL I'm not sure I could take anything too seriously while under it's effects, though.
All in all, a very pleasant experience but I would not call it euphoric, exactly and less intense than some others. It's on my list, but not in my top ten.
My favorite strain yet. Get out your favorite bong or bowl, pack it with some C99 and go sit out on the porch. Two tokes will get you very relaxed and feeling happy. Gaze out at the stars and the creativity part of it hits you. Every thought is your own voice in your head, lol, and everything is funny all of a sudden. Take a couple more leisurely tokes as you space out for a little bit. This may be a sativa leaning hybrid, but for me, it was very relaxing. I ended the night zoned out on the couch. And this hit just as hard thru the whole 8th of nightly smoke sessions. Usually by the 3rd or 4th night, I'm over a strain and ready for something new, my tolerance level builds quick to a strain. But not this one. Every night I smoked was just as intense. Definitely one to try, and make a staple of.
I'll start with a disclaimer that I much prefer indica strains to begin with, and my experience with sativa is hit or miss, but I actually don't like this strain very much. The flavor is nice, with surprising citrus fruit notes, and I find the high very appropriate for getting going in the morning: energetic and it puts your mind to the task. My main 2 problems with this strain could very well be related to a low tolerance vs. the high THC in Cindy, but:
1 - the high can actually push into anxiety territory, which for me is very counterproductive. I couldn't find a dosage that worked for me, it was either too much or not enough.
2 - coming down from this high sends me crashing back to Earth, HARD, every time. I get a headache for hours once the high falls off a cliff, no matter how much water I drink. So, ironically, Cindy is good to get up and going, but for me, it actually put me out of commission later on in the day.
It hasn't been terrible, but I don't think I would buy this strain again. Whether it's too strong for me or not, it just wasn't a good fit!
I have exclusively smoked Blue Dream for years, but when my shop didn’t have any in I was recommended Cinderella 99. That was a big oof. BD was light, gave me hours-long buzz, and brought me down gently. C99 is harsh, heavy, and knocks me out, so I have to be careful how much I smoke and when. Obviously everyone has their own preferences but if you’re like me and enjoy your gentler strains, C99 just has too much girth knowwhatimsayin
I think the only positive I got from it is that it didn’t give me the munchies
BOY let me tell u got a batch of some organic my grown C99 in and Instantly took a FAT rip & Instantly went into Full paranoid mode of deep thoughts which followed by me cleaning the whole house 😂😂this strain is a great sativa for getting work done FOR SURE and gathering ideas 💡
It’s a really nice high, but be warned it tastes very salt and peppery
Cinderella 99, created by crossing two strains: Princess (a phenotype of Jack Herer) and Shiva Skunk.
I smoke this strain everyday, its around 18-20% THC so it gets the job done. Very Nice cannabis strain
