Durban Poison is a Hell of a strain. It's fairly dense, looks and smells yummy and the smoke is smooth. It helps a lot with my GAD (General Anxiety Disorder) and it helps with my clinical depression, as well. It's a very uplifting high with a small indica buzz, you tingle slightly, but also feel very aware and focused. I've noticed it makes my friends and I giggle if we are not alone and we are smoking on this strain. I feel it would be good for people who have ADD/ADHD, Anxiety, and many other things that I have listed in the "Medical Condition" tab. Overall, I rate this strain a 4/5 stars.
I freakin’ love this strain! I’ve only tried in vape form, but it really rocks my world by achieving exactly what I want from the plant in day time use. Keeping productive during the day is important to me, and this heavily sativa hybrid is perfect for that. It had a smooth taste also. I love the incredibly strong cerebral high it blesses you with, and that includes creative and just happy as well. It’s a great strain for a seasoned smoker who is looking for more potency in the THC department. Don’t get me wrong, the terps for taste of this fine oil was spectacular also. I cannot wait to get a hold of this in flower form!
only sativa I've genuinely really liked. really puts me in the zone, my own little zone where mostly nothing distracts me. energizing without the anxiety as long as you don't overdo it. I spent 6 hours cleaning my kitchen that I hadn't cleaned in months and then also cooked dinner and cleaned the bathroom the first time I tried this strain. keeps me awake if I want to be awake (which i usuallt struggle with) but also doesn't prevent me from falling asleep.
As a student DP is an amazing strain of your feeling unmotivated to do school work it really made me focus up and finish all my missing assignments in a few hours
Perfect one for me right now. It took my anxiety away almost instantaneously. Not sure this would help for depression for me. Maybe it was just my terrible state of mind going in, but I still felt very easily getting weepy on this. I could function, but I sure didn’t feel like getting anything done. I felt like I could drive, but I didn’t want to try. Definitely gave me the munchies. I can’t discern flavor profiles very well, but I would say piney and citrus where what I could pick out.
I bought this after much leafly studying. I was looking for something to energize me, focus, and not get the munchies. Durban is perfect. No crazy head high just major focus. No red eyes or dry mouth. This will be my go to day time med.
Gorgeous strain. The first few drags make me want to go back to bed, but then when I finish it and I sit at my desk, I'm extremely productive and concentrated. My thoughts don't wander and before I know it, an hour and a half has passed and I've completed an assignment. Tastes lovely, quite light and palatable. Nice fresh scent. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a push to get some work done.
I think this might be the perfect cannabis strain. Keeping in mind of course that all experiences with difference cannabis strains are entirely subjective, I feel like Durban Poison delivers an experience that is balanced between uplifting and euphoric, that makes [me] feel calm, centered and energized, and clearheaded enough to get things done. I'm really loving Durban Poison as a daytime strain right now. It's entirely chronic. I'm currently using it in airo pro vape cartridge form (I love airo pro). This is a good strain [for me at least] for anxiety, for depression, for adhd, and for pain. If you're not sure which sativa you'd like to try--particularly if you tend toward paranoia in high thc sativas, try this strain first. Move Durban Poison to the top of your "sativas to try" list. You won't be disappointed.
