We went to a dispensary after it got legalized and wow, this stuff is no joke! My boyfriend and I are Sativa lovers and he had this in Colorado during a trip and we just had to buy it when we seen it. This stuff is solid! Packs a great high but you’re still mobile, love it.
I recently tried Durban Poison for the first time and I loved it! The high was a bit slow hitting, but once it hit, it's an energetic, productive high and I didn't feel couch locked. I was able to run errands and even drank a coffee and still felt perfectly fine. Slight chance you'll feel a bit anxious at points if you struggle with anxiety, but still I loved this strain!
Great for getting stuff done, music appreciation, socializing, and video games in my experience. Tends to help me push past some of my anxiety and executive dysfunction, too. Kind of a weird flavor/aroma -- reminds me of a piney, from-concentrate orange juice, but if you eat or drink something mint(-chocolate)y on the side, the vape only tastes sweeter! Generally low on the munchies compared to other strains I've tried. Very highly recommended!
Smooth and very good for wake up strain ! Remember ✔️ Check harvest date!
Energetic High , Speed feel , perfect for running in your flat and play Black Ops ... but bad taste not like a classic weed , like anis-reglisse.
Sorry for my english.
Most terrifying experience of my entire life!!! I was amazed to see that so many people gave this sativa strain 5/5 stars -- some even claiming that it helped their anxiety when I had the complete opposite experience. I was a heavy smoker for a year, took a tolerance break due to getting busted and living in an illegal state, and when I started up again I picked this as my first strain to get back into vaping cannabis... big mistake. I took 1 hit and all was fine. I felt very high and "blissed out." A few hours later I took 2 hits in a row... and that's when it all went downhill. Apparently I said to my husband, "I'm freaking out!! I'm freaking out!!" I kept seeing colors... rolling hills... shapes... a very psychedelic experience that I've never had on weed. At one point I heard a repeating loop of scary music and felt like I was on the brink of "going crazy." I also felt like I "died" and had one of /those/ kinds of experiences. My anxiety was through the roof due to racing adrenaline. My legs were shaking uncontrollably for 2 hours and I kept attributing it to "being cold" but it was definitely a case of "the shakes" due to taking such a long tolerance break. My heart was beating out of my chest and was racing for about 5 hours. I got NO sleep that night and ended up pulling an all-nighter. I had residual anxiety for the rest of the second day and am devastated because I've never had a negative experience on weed, and this one almost made me stop using weed when I find it to be so useful medicinally in treating depression and anxiety. Although it was a terrifying, negative trip all around, I would say it made me appreciate my sober brain very much. Ever since this strain I have avoided sativas and try to smoke things with a decent CBD/THC ratio.
Amazing strain! Great for ADD, I love the focus it gives me. After being prescribed adderall & Vyvanse over the years I decided wit switch to medical cannabis. Durban Poison is a perfect substitute for stimulants.
An experience with pure Durban is always a good experience, with its abilities to maintain a clear mind while providing a creative and euphoric experience it is by far my favorite strain to relieve stress and even some nausea. As far as depression it is an unknown word in the lexicon of a Durban medicator.
