Wonderful afternoon strain after a long day of work. Similar to sour diesel in its energetic effects, but with more body effects. Smoked about 1/2 a joint, showered and had a wonderful afternoon/evening with the family .

I had been up since 4am; ran errands and maybe smoked too much and by 3pm I wanted to take a nap. My daughter wanted to go outside and play so I tried Durban Poison. I felt fully refreshed and ready to hang out with the toddler. I’m very surprised I no longer felt fatigue!

A landrace Sativa that creates an amazing energetic, euphoric “head” high with great focusing properties. Referred by many as the cup of coffee in the mornin’ strain, its a real go getter. EARLY DURBAN. When you read this review, please do so with the understanding that I am an Indica or Indica dominant hybrid kind of girl. I had one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had on marijuana, on this strain. For those who suffer anxiety, pain, panic disorders, PTSD or are prone to paranoia, this is most likely not going to be your strain, unless you commonly adverse. Thankfully I had some Shark Shock that corrected the issue for me and made it bearable, but I would not use this a second time. Granted every person is different and I hate writing negative reviews, I really felt I needed to put a warning out there for people in my boat. If you ARE going to try this one, keep some CBD close at hand in case it doesn't mix with you well. That's the best advice I can give.

Growing this now. This is a Top-Shelf strain. The flowers are amazing looking, for a Sativa the buds are solid/dense. I don't know how to describe the smells this lady produces, but it's "what weed should smell like". Sweet, spicy, dank, fresh, sour, without being overpowering. The effect has all the goodness of getting high without ANY of the lethargy. I'm a heavy, daily smoker; tolerance is high, yet this one hits me right in the sweet spot. No paranoia, no anxiety for me. As of now this one will have a place in my garden and hall of fame. If this is a solid representation of Dutch Passion I'm in for some good times with The Edge, Strawberry Cough on deck, and a Glueberry OG in week 1 of flower...

A super concentrated sativa that hits harder than caffeine! Even the earthy taste of the smoke has a coffee like flavor. Great sativa to focus on projects, specifically creative endeavors. Much like the strain Green Crack, which is known as Green Goddess, I believe the Durban Poison moniker might be deceptive to some who might shy away from a stronger sativa strain. This strain shouldn’t be attributed with much of the cons of marijuana usage (couch lock, munchies, dazed attitude, etc.) which are side effects of indicas rather than sativas. That being said, this is a very potent medicinal strain for those suffering with depression and anxiety, who might want to smoke throughout the day while maintaining an active lifestyle. Overall, high quality herb that can cure your blues and put pep in your step!

Durban Poisin mainly of my mental issues. I am Clinically diagnosed with Adult ADHD, Severe Depression and Anxiety as well as BiPolar 2. It to me is to this point the most shocking strain I smoked yet. I read reviews before purchasing about how it helps you concentrate and very motivational. Shortly after ingesting expect a happy euphoric affect. No BS atleast for me. Be ready to want to get things done it's like drinking a pot of coffee.
