Honestly, this is one of my favorite strains. Even though it's not normally top shelf, it should be. Gave me a wonderful head high and nice body high too. I have taken ecstasy before in the past many many times but never got high on it; this strain makes me feel like this is what ecstasy would feel like even though I never have experienced an ecstasy high. I get very aroused and love the feeling of everything against my skin. This strain makes me feel very content and happy. I recommend trying it.

This strain banishes my anxiety and depression and replaces it with an optimistic and energetic high, almost like I've had a little too much caffeine (in a good way). It's also pretty giggly strain. My favorite sativa by far.
This is by far the best strain for a musician or producer. It is greatly lifting and yields an immensely creative and joyful high. It's exactly what you would want from a sativa. Very minimal body high, very intense mental high. By far the best I've come across in 16 years of blazing.
Stinky, distinct smoke. Felt different from anything else I've tried. Uplifted, happy, talkative, but very comfortable.
tl;dr Durban Poison might be one of my favorite sativas, but it's best when you need a serious shot of energy and focus.
The 1/8th of Durban I picked up a couple of months ago has that classic lemon scented pinesol smell in spades. When I open the airtight container the scent fills the room. Even people who don't like the typical "weed smell" think it smells good.
The taste is very piney with hints of citrus. Not the tastiest weed ever, but very good. The last time I smoked it, a bit of the pine taste lingered in my mouth for the duration of the high, which was kinda fun but also kinda weird.
Last night was probably my best experience with Durban so far. I came home from work exhausted, a little crazy, and unable to focus on anything. A couple years ago I would have cracked into a red wine and just curled up on the couch, but instead I loaded up my vaporizer with a little ground Durban and had a few solid drags.
It was exactly what I needed. I suddenly had the focus and motivation to get going, clean up the kitchen, and get started making dinner for everyone in the house. I put on headphones while I working and despite how boring handwashing dishes is I mostly remember soaring with the orchestral music, feeling the sound rushing over my skin.
There were a few moments of feeling a bit overwhelmed at the peak of the high, but not bad for a racy pure sativa.
The psychoactive part of the high was only about an hour long, but I felt slightly euphoric and more stable for the rest of the evening.
I've had other times I've smoked Durban, when I was less tired and unfocused, that weren't nearly as pleasant. I think I'll be holding onto this 1/8th and doling it out for nights like last night: when I have things to do but can't seem to rub two brain cells together to do them.
The epitome of sativa, in my book. Just like a shot of mild espresso, it is a great first smoke of the day. It'll leave you uplifted and motivated. One of the most notable things is the lack of munchies due to the presence of the THCv.
I have varied reactions to weed. It can make my anxiety worse and at times can make me see brutal truths to situations. However, this strand really puts my body at ease, alleviates my anxiety, and makes me feel very euphoric. I also get a boost of energy, which is unusual when I smoke. I actually did chores today after toking. I never do that. It's definitely in my top two favorite strands.
What an outstanding high! Waves of pure euphoria sweep over your very being. "Happy, Happy, Happy" is how Stempy used to describe this state of mind. I must agree. It is now my favorite strain - replacing Blue Dream. Try it - you'll love it!
