I’ve been smoking 11 years daily. This is one of the best indicas of all time you just have to know when to use it. It’s very sedating and calming, so you can expect for couchlock to gradually set in within the next hour or two after smoking. Very euphoric, and great for pain management. This is the #1 strain I recommend to people who struggle with insomnia, this will absolutely put you to sleep, far much more than GSC and Northern Lights. A legendary strain, but definitely not a morning strain. *****
Considering that I’m a pretty active person (I train boxing/bjj 5-6 times a week, lift 3-4 days out of the week) I’m usually pretty sore more of the time when resting. But GDP is definitely one of those strains that can get you through a work out regardless of how sore you may be
I have super bad Anxiety and Depression. Plus Insomnia. This strain can fix all the problems I have even with a tolerance of 5+ years of smoking. Potent and strong. This will get anyone to the point of anything you have. you don’t get paranoia or anxiety attacks for this strain, you just pass out. 5/5 10/10 recommended to anyone experienced. New people will be blown away.
A norcal classic. and a beloved staple. sweet candy grape berry notes with hints of earthy spice. the effects are heavy relaxation and euphoric uplift with a spaciness. a great night time or evening strain. taste excellent in a dry herb vape. becareful with this one; it can put you to sleep.
Granddaddy Purple is the best — second I’d say is Tahoe OG and Northern Lights a close third — strain for getting a restful night’s sleep. GDP relaxes me, in a-melting-my-anxiety-away sort of sensation. I become hyper away of my surroundings, in an insightful not terrifyingly paranoid way. My senses are sharper, but not in a flight-or-fight sort of panicky way. You cannot go wrong with hitting GDP — especially after a hot shower (moisturize afterwards) — and dimly lit, cooled rooms.
Try journaling once the high kicks in, the words just flow (coherently) onto the page (or into the device). This word-dump adds to your mind becoming freer and clearer after GDP grips (more like caresses) your brain.
Lastly, Consider Obama Kush as a early evening strain (as a chaser to GDP) right after dinner. Then in 2-3 hours, hit that GDP as a nightcap. Your body soothingly winds down for bed, almost as if it’s program by GDP to do so. 🥰
Coming from California, I've had my share of GDP. I had a number of sessions with Grandaddy Purple, from Venice Beach-to-San Francisco. This is a really tasty strain that is sticky icky icky! I found myself drawn to this Indica dominant strain; very rare for me, but I believe it was the amount of clarity that this strain was bringing me. This was some 6-7 years ago, so I've long moved on to strains that perform much better as meditational supplements and/or focus strengtheners, but I do recall this being a potent, but at the same time, a mentally manageable Indica for me. I also don't remember this particular Indica inhibiting my regular activity, like most Indicas do to me. However, you can still expect to get the physical rest that is cherished by so many Indica users.
This has got to be my all-time favorite strain. The smell, taste, and buzz are far more superior to anything else I have smoked. Just a few small hits at the end of a long day helps me to unwind and forget about the drudgery of the work-a-day world.
E fumado muchas cepas en mi vida y esta es la num#1 favorita….en mi opinion es la mejor cepa que existe💯💯
