By far one of the best Indicas I’ve had, Granddaddy Purp is a great strain to end a long day. This strain has an amazing ability to zap away pain and melt away stress, and leads the user into a mellow, body dominant heaviness. Pros: soothes anxiety; relaxes the body; relieves pain; melts away stress; body dominant high with a calming, euphoric, warm head high; eases insomnia; increases appetite Cons: the only downside is that unless you have an energy drink or coffee, it is not a good day time strain. But it’s not a major downside as we know indicas are known for being a nighttime strain

It makes me giggly, horny, slows down time, and turns down the anxiety. Flower or oil, it's been my go-to for a date, and plainly my favourite strain, for well over a decade. It definitely brings on the munchies, though.

GDP is the sh*t! Perfect for insomniacs and ppl who can’t turn off their mind at bedtime. Be careful tho it’s a creeper. G’nite 😴

They were right about the pain relief I have had some back issues for some while as soon as I used it I could feel the pain just dissolve

The only strain that truly helps my paranoia! I’m very sensitive to THC levels, but this strain always has me feeling relaxed and giggly. It is my go-to. Can’t go wrong with classic GDP

I wasn't expecting much out of this strain considering that I usually lean more towards hybrids due to the general heaviness of an indica high, but when I rolled into my dispensary my only options for CO2 cartridges were GDP or Green Crack. Considering that Green Crack has been a little bit to racy for me in the past I went with the GDP, and I wasn't let down. Maybe it's just that I had it in a CO2 concentrate rather than flower, but the body high is way over hyped for this strain. For some this may be a turn off, but I personally you know prefer to get shit done like cooking and painting when I'm high, so GDP's mild body high with and extra cerebral kick is like getting a full body massage to kick off your morning. If I had to knock this strain for one thing, it did give me mild heavy dry eyes.

Grandaddy Purple is the King of purples and even when it doesn't come out dark. thy shall not be dissatisfied. It has a punch and stinch to it. Smells like an old man wearing a lavenderish cologne. It is used in many breeds, to add density and the purple color. Grandaddy crossed with sour lemon is what my Grape Lemonade came from. My Black eye. came from Grandaddy crossed with Black russian

This is almost always my "go to" strain. It is simply a consistent and faithful friend that is always there to heal and medicate. If you need to relax your body, heal your muscles or get a good nights sleep, this strain will never let you down. And since I have grown this strain for years, I am aware of how beautiful the plant is and the amount of terpenes that cover the buds like a powdered donut. I love this strain and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to feel the sedating effect of a fantastic Indica. Can you say "couch-lock?" Uh . . . yeeeaaaa!
