Now that im back in Texas, I've found that a lot of the weed here hasn't matched up to the bud I got back in Oklahoma. I'm pleased to say that GDP definitely went above and beyond. Very smelly buds. Very sweet and aromatic. Green and hair, semi-dense buds. Taste is sweet and somewhat earthy. Makes you lazy but able to function. Good for basically anything from sitting around the house to making dinner to going to a movie with friends. Gets you stoned, too. Not as good as purple kush because I like the melt-into-the-couch feeling of purple kush, but it's still very potent and a very strong indica. Gives me really bad munchies, but I don't mind. Great if you need help with appetite or stress relief.

I’m not sure why this strain didn’t become on of my favs the first time I smoked it ages ago. This time I had a pretty great experience. I was super talkative, positive and pulled up from the emotional swamp of downness that I had been in the last three days. I like that sort of cerebral/emotional uplift feeling. Had me worried for a bit, but have no fear GDP is there to tuck your ass into bed too! For me the high didn’t seem to last that long. So, a couple hours later after going to the grocery store to get some munchies*,I took two more hits. What I got next was crazy hardcore couch lock. As time went on it felt like someone was continually putting 5lb weight medicine balls on my lap every few minutes until I knew my only option was to go lay down immediately. No other option. So that’s what I did and it was fifteen minutes earlier then my reg early time to go to bed. That was amazing for me! I didn’t know if I was going to sleep or what, but I had to lay down with my eyes closed. And I slept. I slept without any sort of break or waking up early- like I had been for the past three days. A nice solid 8 hours of sleep with no breaks. *The munchies were not that bad. Quite low. *No paranoia *A little dry eye. But not a total sucking of all moisture in your face (eyes, nose, mouth) as Dosidos. * Next morning still feel somewhat sedated, but hoping and thinking it should wear off.

First of all I have to say that I got this from fluent dispensary and they are trying to get away from the stigma of cannabis being related to a bunch of Stoners so they've renamed their products. At Fluent, this is called Polaris. This was confusing as hell for a newbie when I first started out and it took me months to figure out by Polaris and Granddaddy Purple where the same thing! Regardless, it was recommended to me to use this to help me sleep since I have insomnia. The first week I used this, and I used the tincture that you put under your tongue, it worked like a charm! I slept so good! Better than I have in years! But then it didn't necessarily stop working, it just didn't work as well. I find it hard to believe that I'd built up a tolerance in a week but again, I'm pretty much a newbie so that could be the case. The first week or so I used it, I got about five uninterrupted hours of sleep each night, which in and of itself is a miracle! Since I haven't slept that many hours in a row since I was probably a toddler and I'm 56 years old now. After the first week or so, I was lucky to get 3, maybe four hours of uninterrupted sleep. I still consider that a good thing since my normal sleep pattern is about 2 hours of sleep and 2 hours awake. As far as the high goes, there really isn't one for me. It's probably because I take the drops before I go to sleep. I noticed no hangover whatsoever in the morning nor do I feel high in the morning. I'll tell you an interesting side note and that is I have very bad arthritis in my fingers and hands and lately I've been experiencing tingling on the tips of my fingers on both hands. I had a very expensive cream from fluent dispensary, $100 for 2 oz! I had run out of that cream (which actually worked!) but there was no way in hell I was going to spend $100 on another 2 ounce jar of cream so I decided to use this tincture on my hands. I filled the dropper to 0.50 dropped it on my hands, rubbed together for about a minute or so and then added some lotion to kind of soak up the oil from the tincture. Holy cow! Works like a charm! It worked actually better than the cream from Flunt dispensary. (I'm not sure if we're supposed to be mentioning other dispensary names so I may get bleeped or deleted but I think that's kind of an important thing to know). Bottom line, as a tincture for relaxation and or sleep I think it's wonderful! I think it doubles really well also as and alternative to hand cream to help with arthritis and or swelling! See ya.. I have been told this a 75% Indica. just saying..

This strain is nice, gradually you’ll start to feel it in your legs. Then around your eyes, but feeling complete relaxation and euphoric. Immediately I want to eat something and my stomach is really telling me. At this point you feel pretty tired. I feel pretty happy, but I feel glued to my bed. Feels good under the covers all warm. Nice body high and behind the eyes high. It’s the next day, I fell asleep writing the review. Great strain!

One of my favorite night time strains for several reasons. I use a Cresco liquid live resin cartridge and right from the start you treated with a grape, berry and mild earthy taste. The initial high is a calming euphoria - plenty of smiles, contentment, giggles on the cerebral front. Physical relaxation coincides nicely - followed by restful sleep. I suffer from insomnia and hip / lower back pain. I’m working through releasing tension in flexors / iliopsoas and this strain really helps to complement the physical therapy, stretching, massage, etc.

Great strain for anxiety. Very good for pain. Get ready for one of the meaner cases of the munchies. I've tried a lot of others since getting my medical license: This remains one of my favorite.

This is my go-to strain for chronic pain & anxiety, GDP never lets me down. It’s very relaxing, great head & body high, smells delicious and though it’s THC is only about 14-16%, it still competes with high THC strains! It’s always a great strain for stress as well, the perfect “after work” smoke. It sets me up for a great night’s sleep while I’m watching movies or playing GTA. This is one that gives you that classic stoned feeling & munchies, be prepared! I usually use this strain in concentrate form (usually vape) since it’s stronger than the flower & gives that extra boost. My Score (0-10): 9.5!
