Harlequin is a God sent for me, with it's pain crushing and anxiety smashing properties I feel like I'm on top of the world.
- I have been waking up feeling sick every morning for awhile now and one hit from this and it melted away into oblivion.
- The high is very pleasant and inviting, leaving me feeling relaxed but capable of doing everyday tasks.
- Also as an additional bonus, the smell of this flower leans between Mango and Sour Skittles.
HIGHLY recommend for sufferers of chronic anxiety. 😁👍
This is an interesting strain to say the least. It's difficult for me to rate because it deserves a bit more exploring due to its low THC - high CBD ratio and it functions a little differently. I want to rate it sort of lowly because it doesnt really do what I am usually on the lookout for, but I certainly want to rate it highly because I believe other patients might find it exceptional.
I would have to say that it does very little in terms of getting me high, which is perfectly okay with me. It seems to be intended as a functional daily use kind of marijuana that you can use all the time. Because of this I'd say most may find it to cause very little paranoia or anxiety. It is supposed to provide a lot of pain relief. I broke my wrist last year and I have some residual pain. This strain didnt particularly treat that any more than any other cannabis out there, but I'd have to say the pain relief effects lasted much longer than any other weed i've ingested. That's why i put 120 minutes on this review.. it would seem that the cbd in it lasts longer than thc? And it has a particular characteristic tingly feeling in the body and head that is unlike anything else, it's very interesting.
In terms of smokeability and how it looks, this may have been the most top shelf well cured bud I have gotten yet. Incredibly easy to pluck little bits.. grind up.. and just look at without bits getting everywhere. Snaps off stems with a satisfactory noise each time. I was impressed. Burns VERY cleanly and evenly. I found that the best way to use this strain is to grind it up and roll joints (or perhaps blunts!). I experimented with mixing other strains into my joints to boost whatever effects I wanted and that was awesome. My girlfriend also has tincture of this stuff and several dropperfulls of that was excellent for a day's relief of the "normally awful day that follows adderall use".
Used this strain for chronic pain, which is going on 10 years, didn’t ease it at all. Did make me relaxed, but overall disappointed after reading the good reviews on this strain. Was expecting all my pain to disappear, but it sadly didn’t.
Absolutely zero anxiety and not too high that it impacts your ability to do day to day tasks.
Very good intro strain. This was the 1st one I tried and it was very mellow and slow to come on. Felt very relaxed and calm. Slept great, good refreshed in the AM. Helped a lot with pain and stiffness. Head high was mild, slightly tingling in the hands and legs.
I suffer from depression. Harlequin just saved my life.
Simple. Straight forward. To the point. I hope this review is truly helpful.
... on simple terms
I love this high because you can still do stuff around the house if you want without a heavy head high.
From my teens until my early twenties I was a daily smokers until something happened in my life resulting in my development of PTSD. My anxiety got worse and worse and I started having random panic attacks. My attacks got so bad that I had one which resulted in a complete change of my perception and mindset. I was completely messed up and had to go on medication. Fast forward 20 years and I’m still on the same medication and while my anxiety is greatly reduced, I developed a horrible depression. It got so bad that I had to quit my job, I can’t eat, I sleep like 12 hours a day and can’t even keep up my hygiene. I had been wanting to use Cannabis to help me but it would severely trigger my anxiety every time. I was so afraid to ever try again until I read a review here by someone in the exact same position as me and recommended Harlequin. I bless that person because they have turned my life around. Harlequin is a Sativa with (although they say 5:2 CBD:THC ) about a 2:1 CBD:THC ratio. At least this is the ratio I see it the most at. The flower I smoke is about 11% CBD to 5.5 THC. Anyway if you take 3 good hits you’ll notice a nice warmth in the back of the neck that moves to your forehead and the rest of the body. If you smoke enough there is a slight head change but even then it is completely calming and anxiety reducing. Being a Sativa it gives you a little boost of energy and motivation with any hint of paranoia or anxiety and makes want to get out and enjoy the beautiful day. I never thought I’d ever be able to smoke again let alone be on a path to getting off my medication very soon. So thank you to the person who wrote that review and thank you Harlequin!
