This bright and happy mixture of Maui Waui and Blue Dreams makes my heart skip a beat! I. Am. In. Love. Quite seriously and literally with everything. With my boyfriend, with my dog, with the weed I just smoked, with this peanut butter and banana sandwich I'm eating (holy crap I am IN LOVE with this sandwich!)... I feel so positive, like nothing could ever bring me down again, and I think I've declared this strain "my favorite thing EVER" at least half a dozen times since I smoked it twenty minutes ago.
On a more serious note, I went into this high already hungry, and barely felt like snacking when I was done smoking. When I did make myself food, however, I discovered it tasted so much better than I had expected. So I'm eating and enjoying it, but it's more because I'm enjoying the flavors, and I'm taking my time so I can savor each bite.
I was also exhausted before I smoked and now I feel like I could muster up the strength to Do Something, if I had to. This one is a little hard to judge since, like I said, I was already really tired going into it, but I feel like it's worth mentioning that I do feel a nagging urge to go sketch.
It's doing AWESOME things for my Fibromyalgia aches and pains!! I was in extreme amounts of pain, probably around a 7, and I'd say I'm down to a comfortable 3 or so now (which is my baseline about as good as it ever gets). There is some anxiety, but it's not overwhelming. Now that I've eaten, it feels a little better.
And after writing all of this, I have to conclude that it's also a very focused high that's allowing me to really get into what I'm doing. I feel very aware and alert, not at all clouded or impaired.
For perspective, I'm a many-times-over daily smoker.
Big fan of the CBD strains (typically indica) so I thought I'd try this for a change. Picked up the Moani Naturals 7.29 thc 12.22 cbd. Def no mental fog at all and or paranoia(usually sativa strains don't agree with me at all). Good balance between mind/body and certainly does help with chronic back pain. Makes me feel motivated to take on a large task.
Buds smell absolutely delicious with very sweet yet delicate citrus undertones- similar to a Capri sun drink. Smoke was just as delicate with a shadow of a bite at the very end.
At the end of the day, I will be adding this to my pain arsenal as I could easily function undetected on this as long as I have a bottle of water near.
This is one of my favorite strains. I've never been uncomfortably high after smoking this, Which is something I'm always cautious of. I'd recommend it for new smokers and lightweights like myself. It's a very clear and light high, so you can remain active and functional. I think my favorite thing about this strain is that it just puts me in a great mood. I wouldn't call it euphoric... it makes you feel like you're having a really good day. It's nice :)
Great for my anxiety and depression.
This strain is perfect for the soccer mom or professional on the go. Relaxes your body, eases pain (amazingly well), and gives your spirit a slight lift. Very nice!
This has to be the best strain ever! It just makes you feel relaxed, warm, comfortable and quiets your mind! I don't get that paranoid feeling or bad feeling like I have done something wrong like I did with other strains. It just makes you feel good, period! The reason I started smoking flower again was because of chronic pain and I can attest this strain is great for pain. The lower THC content and higher CBD content really helps out with my back and neck pain. If I smoke at night before I go to bed I don't end up waking up and having to move around because my back hurts...I sleep through the night.
Another wonderful side affect I have really noticed is that I am waking up in the morning on time and not feeling groggy or feeling like I want to go back to bed to sleep another few hours...which has been great for my work. I used to take a lot of sleeping meds but when I smoke this at night a few hours before bed I noticed that I don't have to take as many. I have reduced my sleeping meds by 50% and plan on reducing them even further to see if I can totally replace them. Again my foray into smoking flower again was to find relief from my chronic back pain (4 back surgeries) and I can say that this strain is a great starting point for anyone that is new or coming back to smoking.
My daily aches and pains strain. 10+ years of construction work has left me with a worn out achy body. With a little help from Hawaiian Dream I'm ready for the next 10. Incredible taste and smell, like a fruity tropical cocktail with a splash of piney gin. The high CBD (11.52) and low THC (3.83) eases away the pain and leaves for clear headed and energized. Very enjoyable.
Forgot to tack this onto my other HD review, and it won't let me do it now so....here we go with my latest experience with HD....
Wow, is all I can say. I have chronic pain and this literally numbs it away. I tried it today for the first time by itself (I was mixing it with other stuff before) and I thought it would not get me stoned. I was wrong. The version I got in the form of a joint is from Moani Farms in Seattle, bought at Herb's House. It has 13% cbd with only 3% thc. I was told I would most likely not feel stoned at all after smoking this. So I am very surprised. Apparently a low thc percentage does NOT matter in my case. I feel light, fairly focused and energetic, this stuff feels like it numbs my sinuses and mouth even. It's very strange. I can see why all the hype for cbd's! I barely did any of it and I should have done less, no way can I drive right now (oops, I did that strain so I would be ok to run errands, or so I thought!). I highly recommend it, not only for those who need it for pain or other malady but for recreation. I am more stoned off this than I was off of 26% thc Grape Ape last night!
This strain doesn't make your heart race like most sativa. If I have a class where I know I can't afford to deal with social anxiety this is a good go to. Productivity is good with this!
