Ice Cream Man

Smoked this last night with my grandmother and we were both zooooooted. Tastes great and definitely made me way more sleepy than I already was. BUT having problems staying asleep, Ice Cream Man kept me knocked out all night!

I recently had the chance to try "Ice Cream Man" by Northeast Alternatives. It is a hybrid of Jetfuel Gelato x legend Orange Apricot F2. The high is slightly uplifting, but is relaxing on the body. The nuggets were massive trichome covered colas that were nice and dense, yet spongey. Smells like sweet apricots with a hint of fuel. The taste is exactly that, a beautifully sun drenched apricot taste with traces of pungent fuel that keep surprising you. I can't get enough Ice Cream this summer!

I can’t recommend this strain enough for anyone that has depression or anxiety. I have seizures, PTSD, and major depression. I’m not very experienced in this world, but not a newbie. I did, however, have a bad experience with a new concentrate that put my heart out of rhythm and me in the hospital. So needless to say, I am beyond anxious when it comes to partaking. So much so that I sometimes have panic attacks before I can even use. The irony behind a cure for my anxiety sometimes causing more anxiety is not lost on me. Anyway, this one here doesn’t give me any of the heart flutters or hand jitters. None of the paranoia or racing thoughts. In fact, I don’t get any stereotypical high effects. I get a wave of clarity. Like all of a sudden, a rush comes over me and it’s like everything is in ultra 4K. Everything becomes light. Visually and weirdly physically. I didn’t feel altered though. I felt like myself before was the altered state and I was now unaltered. It’s almost like you don’t realise you’ve been going through your foggy life with a weighted blanked and blinders on. The best way to describe it would be, for that period, you’ll know what life without anxiety and depression is like. It’s a bittersweet feeling though because you can feel it wear off. Slowly you feel the weight of the world bearing down on you. I felt my face scrunch up. My shoulders and neck got tight. It felt like someone grabbed and twisted the inside of my head, like a piece of fabric. When I started questioning every little thing is when smoked some GG4 and went to bed. Seriously Ice Cream Man is the best “medical” high I’ve ever had. This would be great for before work or events where you have to be functional.
