Cartridge: I have severe inattentive ADHD, bipolar, and anxiety (I'm the girl everyone warns you about *cackle). I've lived with them for 45 years. That has made me the awesome person I am, however, every day is HARD, even when doing nothing. This strain, knowledge of my afflictions, and *brace yourselves* synthetic medications have given me the closest possible thing I can imagine as a "normal". That is a very long time to wait.
There is the initial high which is pleasant and hits smoothly. For me, after that, I was able to think about one thing at a time, and handle interruptions (never something I can do). I was able to hang out and watch TV with my family even while still having those meds in my system. I take them because I have to. This balanced my energy and my thinking to a perfect middle ground. My thoughts were clear, logical, and neither slow nor too fast. I am buying in bulk. It is my # 1-day strain forever.
This strain will knock your socks off, in a good way! Fantastic for daytime use. Strongly relaxing with little to no mental clouding. Great for getting work done or hanging with friends. Light, fluffy bright green buds that are slightly sticky. The smell/taste: pungent, piney citrus with mild spicy undertones.
Mr. Jack Herer is my "work" strain of choice. I can't hit it too hard and stay productive but with a cup of coffee and some good tunes I can really dig into some projects and my spreadsheets are flying. I have anxiety and a lot of the more cerebral "up" strains really wreck my sanity but JH is just an even keel for me. There are only MILD dry mouth/eyes and mild munchies so it really is a great day choice.
However, and this is just as important if not more so... This is my THIRD Entourage . 3 disposable cart that got so clogged up it's almost useless after two days. I keep having to change the mouth pieces and opening it and stabbing it and blowing in it and Lord knows what else to be able to hit it after two hours. It's incredibly frustrating and y'all KNOW how sucky that safety pin is by now. Don't buy the Entourage brand.
Wanted to try this as a wake and bake instead of the old standby of Sour Diesel. Glad I did!!! The first couple of big hits didn't seem to have an effect till the 3rd and then it hit me! Reminded me of Norther Lights one of the parent strains but instead of being slowly tranquilized I was under an "energetic trance."
The top effect was -Giggly, then I'd say consistent Euphoria, happiness, and a creative mindset. Very relaxed feeling in body and maybe a bit of an aroused feeling too. Just awesome strain if you are looking for a change from the very energized feeling of a Durban Poison, Sour Diesel, or Green Crack.
Overall felt a lot like a Northern Lights journey with tons of focus and creativity instead of drowsiness as with NL. Some motivation but not to the level of the previous mentioned Sativas above!

"Given to our grower by Jack Herer's son, this is the real deal" says the label. I doubt anyone's making that statement without being able to back it up. --
The good news is this is FUCKING AMAZING MARIJUANA. Amazing!

The crystals are just so thick and the orange hairs are so rich they stick together. It's a relatively dense nugget, and breaking it up left my fingers coated in crystals and hairs. Sticky and fresh. The nuggets took a bit of work to get apart, they were so tight.--
The smell is super potent, very citrusy and sharp. There's a deep pine aroma underneath it all and it seriously spread and stuck around.

Flavors were deep in this, and I'll be honest.. I had to smoke 3 fat bowls of this before I felt I could pin down the taste. Bowl #4 was just because I wanted to get very stoned. --
Overall the high had me good. Very precise and interested. Truly an engaging high.
Makes me focused, confident & clear headed
The vibe on this is old school. Jack Herer is my chauffeur, driving me around town with the windows down. I'm not sure why they classify this as a sativa. It feels more like a hybrid and 55% sativa isn't really a "dominant" majority. Double Dream is 70-something to 80-something percent sativa and it's listed as a hybrid, so whatever.
I am mellow, serene, smiling, but uplifted and ready to go out or stay in. I could ride a bike or watch a movie. Hang with a few cronies or go one-on-one with a friend that needs to get something off their chest and wants authentic feedback.
This might be the coolest way to be without going too far out there. Then again this could be a mellower phenotype, but either way I want to be your wise, kindly and benevolent uncle, not the creepy uncle.
I've become well acquainted with this strain. My dorm floor, which consists of more than half stoners, also has a distributor with decent bud and better prices. Due to some complications with his provider, he ended up with Jack Herer for something like two weeks. This is definitely the most stress-relieving cannabis I've ever had the privilege of toking. It also sparked some interesting conversations with my friends that seemed to last forever. Unfortunately, it wasn't as creative a strain as I had hoped for, and that is one of the main attributes I seek out. Otherwise, mostly A's across the scoreboard.
