Absolutely falling in love with this strain. Quickly rushing to first place as a medical strain for sleep and relief from chronic pain.
I have 13 years experience with cannabis (was always prompted by medical necessity) and this strain is definitely in my top 10. Its definitely a nighttime strain, producing some of the most powerful relaxation and pain relief there is to be had.
Soon after using, a tingly, happy feeling overtakes the body. Its almost a physical euphoria I feel as the strain begins to overwhelm my perceptions, and I slowly lose the ability to feel my back pain. Superb level of relief that doesn’t begin to wane for at least 2 hours. Relief lasts quite a long time after that.
Though this strain is a sledgehammer for pain, it’s most special effect is definitely it’s ability to sedate the mind and induce sleep. About 15-30 minutes after use, a very deep relaxation begins to make you want to close your eyes. Other than when I’m strain locked, I cannot fight this feeling without at least resting my eyes. When I do go to sleep, there is very little effort. Power naps frequently occur for me.
The smell is extremely distinct. More of a chemical smell than I’m used to from OG Kush. Earthy and woody undertones as well with a very distinct flavor of worn clothing maybe, not necessarily good. Almost smells gross to me, but it is very reminiscent of GMO. Which does smell bad to me even though I love it. In fact, it smells more like a floral cookies strain to me than it does of OG genetics. These terpenes also tend to make me choke a little bit when smoking, giving way to some tell tale coughing . My first thought when I cracked the jar was “this smells like pain relief!”
While I have many positives to write about Legend OG, a fair warning that this is a a very powerful medical strain, proceed with caution if you don’t have an unhealthy tolerance! You may also want to eat or at least prepare food before the munchies begin. I find it very hard to not just sink into the couch and ignore the feeling. My first experience with it was so mind bending I got slightly uncomfortable, and the heaviness is such that it probably doesn’t lend itself to recreational use unless laying down and going to bed in the middle of the day sounds like a good time. Its definitely a strain I could say is a one-hit-quit. Less THC seems to actually be required with this one. Though its not as bad as myrcene driven couch lock, Legend OG seems to induce a sleepy haze anytime it is used so keep that in mind if you come across this powerhouse.
The last thing of significance I will say is that I actually got the chance to use it on the early side of a hypomanic episode and found it had quite interesting effects. Though it’s usually impossible to catch when its starting, I went from a deep enough depression into hypomania over a couple hours, it was unmissable. That evening I was sure to choose Legend OG. Like all strains, no head buzz under the influence of the mania, but this strain was so relaxing and potent that I couldn’t help but see what thoughts were purely manic. Very helpful. An even greater help was that it wasn’t very hard to fall asleep and stay that way, the real thing I have to worry about on days like that. Most people react badly, so it’s hard to recommend it for bipolar II, but for me it’s distinctly useful.
I think Legend OG is one of the best strains for my psoriatic arthritis and other major aches and pains. It’s emotionally stabling and good for anxiety, depression and helps with manic episodes. Head is calm but full of creativity while a relaxed body takes it all in. Granted the strain I smoke is tested at 29.47% THC but the average THC content is usually around 22%. Enjoy. 😎🐶♥️
No anxiety or paranoia, got me to sleep. Giggly and good for watching Family Guy.
10/10 recommendation for those using marijuana for anxiety. Helped me to feel relaxed laid back. Also helped with sleep quite a bit.
The first puff of this is very pine sol like without that chemical feel. Pretty good for insomnia, GREAT for appetite, BAD for headaches. I actually gained headaches while smoking this. It’s definitely a couch potato smoke. If you have any type of IBS-D like gastrointestinal issues...100% recommend this. That’s my favorite thing about it.
I am high AF right now. One large bowl in my bong and I’m feeling so relaxed. My pain has diminished. My mind is clear of clutter. My eye have that heavy feeling. My head feels like a bobble head. This will be a new favorite for sure. I’m feeling soooo good!
I like smoking powerful indica strains in the morning sometimes. Just to see how it will make me feel. After two hits. I thought the reviews i read were BS. Omg this stuff creeps up and bam! Im laughing my eyes are weird feeling. I have had coffee and a bowl. Legend is an amazingly strong buzz. Taste very good and sticky to the touch. Probably need to use this one later in the day. But have fun with it on a wake-n-bake. Bye gotta go eat. Lol
One of the most legendary strains I've had.
Would definitely recommend to a friend
Pros: Pain relief, Sleep inducing, Euphoric
Cons: Dry mouth, Couch lock, drowsiness

Bought this strain before but in flower, that schnitzel blasted me and my boyfriend to space. Btw HE NEVER SMOKES. We smoked a fatty watching dune in thaters. Afterwards, still on cloud 9, followed the sound of music through the streets and ended up at a live concert with an audience of a least 100. That was a fantastic time. THIS STRAIN IS EPIC
