Truly fantastic new strain! Absolutely soaring, long lasting physical and mental euphoria with this one. Diesely skunk on the inhale with a lingering pink fruit flavor. The product of many years of breeding, I expect this unique strain to stick around for a while.
I just got this strain and am about 15 minutes into it. I’d say 10/10 makes you talkative and euphoric. It feels like I can’t stop laughing! It can be a little harsh I’d say, but the aftertaste is light and fruity. The smell is absolutely amazing, by the way!! I’ll be going back to this strain.
What a beautiful strain. This sativa-dominant hybrid is complex in every way, starting with the aroma (strawberry, wood and pine, maybe with some pastry going on as well?) and the taste (strawberry, sour berries, sandalwood and hops).
As I usually do with sativa-leaning strains, I tried it out in my one-hitter to gauge whether it would trigger any anxiety. Nothing but good vibes and, holy hell, it was strong. I usually get 3-4 hits from my "one-hitter," but even so, I had a wonderful happy buzz and easy body relaxation that lasted for three hours, easy. Not bad, especially since I'm a daily smoker.
Later, I smoked a proper bowl and, again, wow. Though it's sativa dominant, smoking Magellan is like experiencing every good sativa and indica high I've experienced all at once. It's really that good.
If your dispensary has this strain, run, don't walk, to get a good supply. This is exceptional weed. Well done OCA!!
A long time ago there was a strain going around called Oregon Grape and it tasted like this. The terpenes gave it an odd lavender-cedar-coriander impression, something like a cross between an herbal tea cabinet and a cuban cigar room. It vanished due to being out-competed, and I pined for it because there was nothing like that flavor. Well, Magellan is not only that exact flavor, but five times as stoney, with a sharp, clear focus, sky-breaching euphoria and an imaginative horizon, very worthy of the explorer it's named after. I can see sailing a wooden ship through the multiverse and exploring other worlds with a barrel of this stuff scenting the cabin. I've never had any weed better for writing than this. I feel like I'm in the scenes I'm writing. There is a door in your mind, and some strains are especially tailored to be a key. This is one, my favorite strain of all.
I love the high from the Magellan. One bowl does the trick and helps me to stay active and happy while still feeling the effects of the flower.

It’s a hybrid of OCA’s Cloud Nine and Gorilla Glue or GG4.
Simply put the GG4 or Gorilla glue influence is definitely there for the later part of the experience passing the standard of leaving one glued into current situation. Into more of a Carmel coated creative thoughtfulness.
The Cloud Nine strain is a type of geno type from a Brazilian strain that was very popular in the 1970’s it’s known is to be very strong. It’s actually described as having a profiled terroir. Which is a fancy French way of saying you taste beautiful like the earth you came from.
Magellan was a Portuguese explorer. He also was an explorer for Spain. So it’s kinda like a quarterback who got more money from another Country so he cut the deal and in doing so he actually circumnavigated around the world.
Your
Mind will circumnavigate around the world with this strain as well. It does have a energetic early buzz. It’s not what I’d call a quad shot cold nitro with 4 raw sugar packets. But the early mental energy buzz is both positive and creates a very nice path for a mentally creative Ride that you will experience for the next one hour then it settles into what is call a day hike at Yosemite kinda feeling. You’ll wanna be outside in the sun. Playing fetch with the doggo or just stretched out air-budding the Phish Spotify playlist. Have a fun trip you Explorer of new straits and paths.
I used a tight grind for the preparation. The grind was TIGHT. I’d call it a espresso style grind. So, for myself a mod once a day smoker I only needed two inhaled doses.
No appetite Enhancement but I’m drinking a blueberry veg- protein shake.

This strain is aptly named for the late explorer, Ferdinand Magellan... explore your mind with this one! With smooth smoke, great flavor, and a heady high to boot, this bud is definitely one of my all time favorites!
Amazing hybrid!! Hits hard and makes me just the right amount of dopey stoned, but not messed up. Very happy, highly, and creative. Tingly and good for inflammation too.
