This strain was great for headaches and body pains. Great get up and clean, very nice.
Definately a great hybrid but not a personal fave. Body high was mild to moderate but euphoric creative energetic head buzz was nice but didn't last more than 30 mins. Id smoke again but wouldn't seek it out.

Hard hard strain goes like crazy shit man hard hard haaaard "last one is quiet "too tuch im just i love this man matanuska thunder of shit man .
I am not going to debate the origins of this strain or the pedigree of what I bought. The dispensary sold this to me as MTF, and that's what I will review.
This flower came in at 18% THC. The nugs are a pleasing lime green with streaks of orange and tiny patches of purple. Despite the coloration, the citrus forward fragrance is most reminiscent of lemon. The citrus dominant fragrance is pleasingly accented by mint & pine notes; finished by a subtle note of sage.
I smoked this in a joint. The taste up front is like unsweetened marmalade, not bitter but more like citrus zest. The roach is harsh, as most are. This would be a great strain to dry vape for those that appreciate the subtle flavor notes of their herb. It does, however, make for a flavorful smoke as well.
The high I experienced was reminiscent of the head pressure often described with headband. For me the high was much more euphoric than I've had with headband. It's as if the euphoria of MTF is forcing itself on you, squeezing your mind until it seeps in with a rush. This would be a strain I would recommend to someone looking to break out of depressive episodes. I would be careful with this strain if you worry about anxiety when you smoke. Some reviews have mentioned effectiveness with stress or PTSD; I won't speak to that since I'm not in complete agreement based on my own experience.
I believe that decarbing this strain would be an excellent alternative method of consumption, but have not tried that yet personally.
Worked well for a party, we all felt buzzed and had a good time
I like this strain but I am knocking it back a star due to the level of psychosis. Don't get me wrong, I like that. It leaves me with a classic heady high but I do feel confused and disoriented so it would be very situational for me, like I just want to junk out and play video games for a few hours. I don't think it is versatile enough to be a normal daytime sativa strain. For that I would stick with something more clearheaded like Green Crack or Durban Poison.
In the right situation though, this could be fire!
I love the Matanuska Thunder Fuck!! Just picked this up tonight on my way home and I love it! It's earthy and piney, and reminds me of it's Northern Lights roots. It smokes sweet and yummy, and gave me a great euphoric buzz. Totally a keeper Nate!
I visited Alaska and tried some cannabis that I didn't know the name of. It completely eliminated the pain in my knee. I visited Las Vegas this weekend and found this MTF....same effects! The only strain to ever get rid of my knee pain, and uplifting as well. LOVE IT.
