Has an indescribable smell. Fruity almost like a grapefruit. Burns hashy and slow, tastes hashy as well. Pretty strong head high - not as uplifting as some have mentioned, more of a stoney head high. After about 10 minutes i started feeling pretty baked as well - the sort of feeling i only get with the 50/50 hybrids or pure indicas. music was pretty awesome, as were movies. one of the better sativas i've had in a while, really dig the baked effect.

The specific cut I got of this wasn't incredibly potent; however, the overall effects and smell/taste is what makes me want to give this a 4/5. Like i said, it wasn't a very potent cut, it lasted about an hour or two depending how much I smoked. But instead of being a very intense mindf*** high, it was a very clear energetic and sociable-mellow blaze. Which is perfect for me because I'm prone to anxiety and this is one of the few sativas to give me energy without freaking out. The smell is outstanding, I love any strain that smells citrusy or fruity. Taste resembles a spicy pineapple in a forest of pine trees. Overall, great strain for morning or midday and good for people with anxiety or depression.

For me it's a great morning strain, it leaves me with energy and focus while being relaxed at the same time, it also balances me out nice and evenly. I usually get it about once a month and I'm never left dissapointed.

picked up a Brass Knuckles vape of this. Very inspiring smoke from this one. Had me singing along like a rock star going acoustic in a small room. This one was everything I was hoping for. Works great for my social anxiety and had me feeling a step faster at work. In my opinion, this one is in the top 5 of my favorites. An old school strain that lived up to it's name. I recommend this strain if you have issues getting up and getting motivated. Also, if you have worries about paranoia, this one is safe to smoke.

"I need Maui Waui I smoke that Maui Waui" What a great song, it perfectly says what we all really wanna say! :p Maui Waui is such a nice relaxing and euphoric high. Not a single fuck was given when I was smoking on it. Great wake'n'bake smoke and a great all around smoke. No matter the time, the day, or the place, it is always a good time to light up a bowl of that Maui Waui! I look forward to going to Hawaii one day and just living in a forest of Maui Waui! Great stuff!

I’ve been on a bit of a tropical themed run here as of late, and Maui Wowie, often seen as Maui Waui, adds to this ongoing motif. After enduring a month in frigid Chicago and getting to know the term polar vortex well, I’ve been spending as much time under the palm trees of SoCal as possible. It isn’t the taste, but the spirit of this strain that makes me think of warm, sunny beaches and bathing suits. These buds were lumpy and long and markedly sticky. This is no surprise since an abundance of cloudy amber-colored late harvest trichromes can be seen across the nuggets. Maui Waui is a ginger lady, and orange hairs stick out like cowlicks. It wasn’t the look but the the scent of this strain that sold me in the dispensary. Diving your nose into the jar grabs thick wafts of pine and lemon cleaner, similar to Chemdawg strains, but sweet like Super Lemon Haze. There is also a minimal baking spice aroma as well that comes through in a big way in the aftertaste. The smoke is thin and not expansive, making medicating a pleasurable after thought. I love a flavorful strain, and this is as fragrant and tasty as they come. Popular among the hippy crowds in California during the late sixties, Maui Waui was an early high THC plant, desired for its potency and uplifting sativa high. I place it in a category of what I like to call brain strains: sativas so erudite and sophisticated that they make you more capable. I love to work on strains like this, since they pique your creativity, expand your imagination, and enhance your problem solving. With no noticeable indica effects, strains like Maui Waui will drive your productivity and are exceptional daytime, mid-week highs. However, it is just as appropriate a medication for your times of repose. http://ocweedreview.wordpress.com/
