I purchased some of this strain from a dispensary in Florence, OR called The Arboretum. I was drawn to this particular strain because 1) it’s new 2) it had big, beautiful buds in varying shades of green and 3) it’s parents are Grease Monkey and forum cut GSC, a mix I just couldn’t pass up. I enjoyed smoking this flower. It got me pretty stoney from only one bowl out of a bong (which is difficult given my high tolerance from mostly doing dabs). I felt relaxed, a bit giggly, and a bit hungry. The only downside is that the flower doesn’t have a very strong scent. It mostly smelled faintly of hay. Definitely not enough to deter me from trying it again though!
Got this strain from my regular plug. Looked up the genetics, and saw the parent strains, and hoped it would be 🔥. My guy doesn't typically let me down.
To the nose, the nugs smelled of earth, grass, and tea. After putting a nice nug through the grinder, I was hit again with earth, grass, and a gassy undertone. The smell was phenomenal, and I had a feeling it was going to hit nicely in my bong.
One bowl gives me about 3 good hits on my 15" triple perc bong. Even though my bong wasn't fresh, the hits were smooth as you could hope for. Absolutely no coughing from this baby. It hit as smooth as it smelled. You are first hit with the grassy, earth, and tea flavors. On the exhale the gas hits you. It was more gassy than I anticipated. Certainly not a bad thing by any means.
This wasn't my first smoke of the day, so my effects might be a bit muted. However, waves of calmness really washed over me within 15 minutes. It turned into a nice, calm, and relaxing time for me with my anxiety for a few hours. No couch lock, but if I had the choice I definitely could have taken a nice nap. My normally jumbled mind was calmed and clear. Not anything of the munchies from this strain, which is good for my fat ass.
If you are looking for a strain to help with anxiety, bipolar disorder, and/or depression, this is definitely a strain to try if you have the chance.
I work as head of PR and Marketing for The Shop (NCR) Bay City Michigan where we have the best dispensary in the Tri City area and let me tell you Corleone Kush has been one of my all time favorite strains once I went into work and peeped a big ole jar full of this goodness! It smokes like a freight train! So, if you happen to be a first time smoker you may wanna start slow 💨😂! I suffer from PTSD as well as insomnia so for me I love a good indica. Take a nice rip out of a bong and you will not regret it. Very nice size buds that look like chandelier’s. Once you bust it down in the grinder you’ll understand! Happy token! 🌔
It is my first time trying Monkey bread, it definitely hits hard and fast. Very calming and relaxing and it definitely made me sleep like a baby. I like how smooth it is, I barely coughed. Overall just a great strain for relaxation, chilling and sleep. The munchies will hit hard too lol🔥🔥
Picked this up from Rise in Maryland, a pack of prerolls.
Smoking experience: very smooth! Burns slow and evenly, and I never had to relight.
Flavor: Sort of a spice cake flavor, though not very strong, the carophyllene definitely comes through as the dominant flavor. There was a moderately strong citrus flavor, which I personally really prefer.
High: Starts slow. I smoked a Half gram and was about half way through before I started to feel it. I actually felt it in my hands and feet first, before spreading up through the back and shoulders. This is most definitely a body high as advertised. The effect is smooth and sort of mellow, definitely not a knock you on your ass strain. Peaked about 45min after, and lasted about 3 hours with a super calming after glow.
Overall, about a 7.5/10. The flavors and smoothness carry this strain for me, it’s a unique profile that some will really enjoy. If you are looking for something sweet or earthy, this is not quite it, but as someone who enjoys gelatos and similar strains, I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Worth trying for sure!
love the name had it with my first pen yum monkey bread
it's a nice relaxing body high BUT gives major major munchies
Monkey Bread, Monkey Breath. Meh it should be called. Man! I’m baked. You feel the effects instantly and will have to get back to this strain before u finish the whole thing. High THC definitely recommend buying this anywhere you see it. Indica hitting will have you with the munchies fo’sho!
