I had not smoked a (sativa) strain that had me this talkative and genuinely enjoying the vibe of my environment in a while. It made me talk to my dog more, which was nice because she loves attention and is very receptive to being addressed. At times it felt I was in-between extremes, more so conceptual extremes; sometimes it felt as though I was being piloted by a smaller version of myself and my actually human body was some sort of giant mech suit or something. The other extreme was feeling like an animated Pixar character. My movements felt very fluid, with little choppiness in my range of motion. Christ, I am high. Even as I write this, I continue to climb the ladder into Mario Bros. Penny Heaven, and ride the cloud letting the coins spin above me. A beautiful strain. It makes you see art and feel as though you’re art. 5/7 will definitely be buying whenever I have the chance.
In today's market, there is no shortage of crosses between two strains which are legendary in their own right, but NF1 is certainly one of the better ones I have sampled recently. The batch I had by CAC came in at 24% THCA and 1% D9-THC, and the high was powerful and well-balanced.
The aroma of these buds is absolutely unreal, like a fresh bouquet of roses or a light perfume, with a hint of gassy bite in the background. I have come across some far more pungent and stinky buds lately, but these actually smell so nice I would almost wear it as a fragrance; that probably sounds crazy, but even my partner who doesn't smoke and thinks all weed just smells like skunk said that this one actually just smelt really nice like fresh flowers.
As for the effects, they are very euphoric, up, positive, sociable, creative, and cerebral; if not a little bit dizzy/floaty, which I tend to find with Chemdawg crosses. I mentioned before that the effects are well balanced, which is to say they are unlike other crosses I have tried recently which seem to pull you lopsidedly in two different directions (Cookies hybrids especially). I would not recommend this strain for beginners, but for a seasoned smoker it is a nice clean and powerful high perfect to enjoy some games, cook a nice meal, clean the house, or go for a walk.
Definitely pick this one up!
This is a cross of Chemdawg and Northern lights and wow what an outcome. The 1st hit will hit you with a warm rush of euphoria as your mind eases into a state of Duhhh . This strain is not for beginners...

NF1 is a hybrid with some very well-known parents—Northern Lights and Chemdawg. This strain brings together the piney scent of Northern Lights with the diesel aroma of Chemdawg. This cultivar offers long-lasting physical relaxation with some mental uplift.
Oh my, what a buzz. Very enjoyable, comes on in waves and just keeps coming. Newbies may float away.
A solid cross between Chemdawg and Northern Lights. The grow I received was tested and said 30% TC and 29%THC, so very potent buds. The aroma and taste is piney and has a very pungent herbal scent. Buds were on the dense side with orange hairs and crystals galore. After first hit, it gives you a pretty solid rush then settles in and is a chill, focusing high. Does not leave you a daze. A fantastic any time of a day/night smoke
This was the most recommended strain by two different bud tenders at two different shops, including Bud Tender of the Year, Matt Trinidad at Grasshopper.
Both said, “tons of euphoria + no anxiety”
Pros: good energy, inspired creativity, and pretty good euphoria.
Cons: the Terpinolene can almost cause anxiety. It still stays positive, but that’s also because I took it slow with the vape bags
Takeaway: it feels like the creativity and (almost) anxiety go hand in hand.
Is that a Terpinolene characteristic trait?
On the fence about putting this in my buy again section, but it did cross the best uplifting parts of Chemdawg with the creativity of Northern Lights.
Nerd facts:

Terpinolene
Limonene
Caryophyllene
Myrcene
I am an overthinker so the first couple of puffs had me on an emotional roller coaster. In the matter of 5 minutes, I was regretting the high to the point of locking the rest of the weed in a safe so I don’t get to it. 🤦🏾♀️ But then it leveled out and actually helped me come to some great conclusions 😄. Now that I understand my effects, I really like it.
It didn’t make me sleepy. Actually kept me up at night. So take that in consideration. Maybe more of a wake and bake or mid day boost situation.
I love being in my hermit hole so haven’t experienced this socially but I can definitely see it being fun with some of your favorite same vibe type of people.
I stayed productive and actually had a boost of motivation (except for the first few mins when I was on that roller coaster lol)
It’s worth giving a shot if you are able to handle your mental state.
More suitable for intermediate level puffs
