Top 5 List...!!
Was feeling a little wound up, with racing thoughts, so I decided to try some Northern Lights #5 while watching the 1967 Suspense-Thriller "Wait Until Dark" for the first time. It took quite a few hits over about 1/2 an hour to finally feel kind of stoned. I kept getting distracted from the film but gradually faded into a nice high. I would call it a very "curious" high because I kept thinking of things I wanted to look up online. I still felt productive and coherent but I didn't seem to be able to zone out too well. I ate a bunch of food and then finally went in search of something comedic instead, settling on the british comedy series "Saxondale" for the thousandth time. Overall I think it's an ok high - glad I tried it but probably wouldn't seek it out again. It did take the edge off of my anxiety by getting my mind occupied with other things.
I have been using Cresco’s reserve Northern Lights #5 shatter in a vape pen for sleep. It is so good. I understand why this strain has been around for as long as it has. I use any heavy Indica I can find for sleep, but some are better than others. This is one of the better ones. Many heavy Indicas I have used feel like sleep falls on you like a sledgehammer, but this one feels like a warm blanket being draped over you. I can’t recommend this enough as a sleep aid, and my only problem is that my dispensary is sold out of it!
What a fantastic strain...
Mmm, this one is nice, very fruity and citrus at the same time. There's a sweet quality to the buds.
The smoke is thick and tastey. Very nice fresh fruity cirtus taste too. There is a hashy after taste that is very earthy and gives off an onion/funky taste...
I love this one because it's not too complex; it is what it is, sour fruity goodness.
Some strains make you happy. Some make you feel uplifted. A few strains actually make you feel euphoric. Northern Lights #5 offers full-on euphoria combined with head-to-toe body relaxation.
If you use it before bed you'll probably fall asleep, but it's still a strain that you can use anytime, day or night.
The last time I smoked this was 30 years ago(!) and I've been looking for it ever since. The full-blown euphoria and relaxation was on the verge of psychedelic.
I finally came across some NL#5 flower, and the first hit from my bowl took me back 3 decades. My expectations were crazy-high, and it met them all.
By far, the best strain I have ever had the pleasure to combust. I'd equate it to the sticky dick-cheese of Hendrix. Hands down, a true winner. If you're looking for something to positively blast your mind, look no further.
It elicits a pleasant, clear-headed high that helps me with my back pain and anxiety. Indica benefits without the heavy sedation.
Local Product Of Colorado on 13th and Delaware has it, and wax, as I am medicating with it currently.
