probably the absolute best indica strain, can be hard to find at times but is a MUST when available, both bud and concentrates.

Northern Lights and White Widow to me are the original "high octane" strains. NL is one of the best Indica strains you can get. Higher THC % than most.

This is (in my opinion) the best strain to ever have been grown on earth! This is the medical strain people with pain have been looking for. I was on pain killers for really bad arthritis and have broken my back so that I have permanent pain in my back because of it. This strain calms my pain down so well! I would highly recommend this strain if you are in pain or need help sleeping. I noticed one side effect which is why they probably call it northern lights is that when I close my eyes I actually see “northern lights” this strain doesn’t have to be just for pain it’s also a very relaxing in my opinion high grade strain that can be used to just chill and play video games with as well.

Great Indica strain, I smoked this in a vaporizer yesterday, the taste and smell is very earthy but the smoke is not harsh (unlike white widow) It's really good to put you to sleep, and very narcotic pain numbing, you get deeply relaxed from it I did not feel much euphoria at all. It's like a classical effect of a heavy Indica. Ah and the effect lasts REALLY LONG specially if you're new. Great Strain, but best to leave for night time

Dispensary- RISE Bethesda Cultivar- **Please note this rating is based on bud from RISE Bethesda and Cultivated by ** Tried Northern Lights many times before. This one from this dispensary and cultivar is much better. Very good stone. Relaxing and very cerebral/Psychedelic. Kicks in hard and lasts pretty long. Creeps up on you and gets you higher as you sink into where you're sitting. Helps my pain a lot. Feels like a 50/50 Indica/Sativa high and stone even though this an almost pure Indica.

One of my favourite strains now, Northern Lights leaves you relaxed in a dreamy euphoria that nothin can ruin. Music appreciation is certainly heightened for me, all you need is a snack, some music and speakers and you’ll be satisfied for hours. 5/5 I love Northern Lights! Great for a lazy day and for late night.

Hmmmm can i say anything horrible with this strain..... absoulty not.. this strain is amazing i have fibro anxiety and depression. Btw soo many trichromes and purple hues it was so beautiful had to snap a pic and when i make edibles with this strain it makes me soo mellow and chilled out i forget about my constant pain and worries this is an absoulte must to try!! Once a fav from over 30 years ago and been smoking for 14 years i highly recommend this strain this strain..

I will start this review off by stating that I’m not the most experienced stoner. For years I smoked without knowing what indica or sativa was or the difference between Bush weed and hydro. I couldn’t have told you why some strains had nicknames and some didnt. This year I’ve been learning a lot more and while I have smoked cross breeds of indica and sativa before, I finally got to engage in my first entirely indica experience. It was a huge surprise but it also terrific. Normally I’m very talkative and silly while high. Even when I’ve smoked predominately indica strains, the little bit of sativa in there balanced it out and gave the energy I craved. Even when I had smoked a crossbred of this very strain (Northern Lights) with the sativa strain Purple Haze, I felt this energy. Yet just on Northern Lights by itself, I felt glued to the chair. When I stood up I was dizzy and felt like I was going to fall over. It was pure relaxation mixed with sheer intensity. As opposed to feel excited and euphoric I just felt like my state of mind was radically altered. I felt calm but that my mind was racing. I went to sleep, woke up and sat in the back of my friend’s car on the way to another friend’s house as I continued to fall in and out of sleep. We arrived at our friend’s place, and smoked some more then decided to order a pizza. I fell asleep and woke up the next morning with a slightly fuzzy head but a great attitude. I don’t remember much about the experience beyond that. It almost feels like it was a decade ago. It’s just such a blur. Without a doubt one of the best strains I’ve ever had.
