Flavor profile is overtly of rich papaya with undernotes of tropical fruit and pepper. Lingering spicy papaya afterglow with smooth vapor. The effect ramps up over 5-10 minutes with mellow yet clear headspace and deep muscle and body relaxation. Excellent for winding down at day end without being overly stony. Warm relaxing body feel is great for tucking into bed for a nice read before sleep. Leaves me refreshed and well rested the next morning.
I've recently begun smoking to treat a medical condition. I'm about a month in, and I've tried about 20 strains, still searching for the right one. I'm writing reviews on any strains that are great, or really bad or just plain weird. Papaya for me was weird. The high started in the head, mostly with a tingly scalp. I noticed that it heightened my perception or focus when watching my favorite TV show of the moment. This sensation lasted quite a while. Meanwhile it travelled to my body with a heavy narcotic feeling. So far so good, but the strange thing was that despite this heavy feeling, I didn't find it as helpful for bodily pain relief as other strains. I could feel my old shoulder injury more. The next strange thing was that it made me sleepy, but at the same time it was activating, what on Leafly might be called "aroused." So it made me want to sleep and the same time it made me want to get up and do stuff, even though I didn't really want to! It should be noted that I'm a little prone to bodily anxiety and this strain activated that. But if you read reviews, some people find it energizing and other people find it calming. I think this is the nature of the strain. It could hit you either way, or for me, both ways. I would call its effects on me as "contradictory" -- sleepy and activating at the same time. I would compare its effects to Inferno OG, but maybe bringing more perceptual focus (but I smoked more Inferno than I did Papaya). The budtender recommended it for sleep, but I couldn't use this strain in that way. It was not the right strain for me, but could still work for you.
loooooove this strain 🧡
The moment I opened the bag, the papaya aroma was striking. While I expected a full indica experience, I found a creative and focused burst of energy for a little bit (which was great). After about 45 minutes, I sank into my couch and felt mellow.
The taste was tropical & peppery.
As a very light sleeper, this helped me drift one and have a full night sleep.
(Citral x Ice) = Papaya. Which, is a particular seed bank's creation and take on the tropical fruit counter-part, Mango.
The taste is similar, in it's sweet treefruit like sense, but a spicy, peppery side is also apparent through the inhale.
The plants stay fairly short and thin, which for an indica dominant seems uncannily, almost sativa dom(ish). Definite plant worth trying, the calmness alone will kill any naysayers anxiety! Great for after a nap! Great for browsing the web, watching videos, studying, reading, eating, sleeping :) and repeating 8)

This is a unique strain. This feels like it should be a sativa but it's just a little different. I don't taste or smell papaya but it's a light flavored smoke. Better than 90% of the sativas that I have sampled.
Chronic Muscle Spasms relieved this morning. Plus I was on my period so stomach cramps were on 10 and was out of bed after 3 puffs of a joint (3rd puff made me cough) and didn't have to smoke the full half gram so that was nice. Did great as an instant pain relief. Tingly and deep sigh of relief.
