Purple Sour Diesel reviews

Compared to SD, this stuff is piss. Either I had a really weak batch or it just sucks in general. Everyone I know agrees that original Sour D is just way better.

One of my favorite strains. I love seeing the purple on it. Puts me in a very happy mellow mood, then puts me to sleep, and you wake up refreshed.

I really enjoyed the intensity, but found that the batch I smoked weighed heavy upon me on re-entry. A cup of coffee knocks out the cob webs while the body high, though slight, remained with me for about 5 hours. This is all from smoking about half a gram through a water pipe.

The nice thing about this being a hybrid is I initially get a huge burst of energy, super focused, and have a lot of motivation. As it starts to mellow, I feel really relaxed, my thoughts aren’t racing, and I’m able to chill into whatever I’m doing.

I rely on Hybrids to get me going through gaming sessions, keeping me awake while also relaxing me at the same time. Purple Sour Diesel is one of those that have a bit TOO strong of effects. The sativa side makes your mind move too fast which results in restlessness and overthinking, while the Indica will slowly sneak up and throw you into this weird restless-but-too-tired-to-keep-eyes-open type of high. I can't think of really any situation I'd want to be in where I'd choose this strain over other great hybrids.

What do you get when you combine two of the best strains on earth? Purple Sour Diesel thats what. This is a very special flower that to be honest wasn't very impressive to look at but expressed that pungent diesel smell you would expect from the cross. The high is my favorite so far, recreationally speaking. Take the fast acting cerebral jolt that Sour Diesel provides and imagine the come down being a mild body high fueled nap session that you would expect from Purple Kush. I would highly recommend this for a late afternoon walk or some relatively short outdoor activity because the medicine acts really fast and the SD part lasts for about 1 1/2 hr then peacefully transitions into the body stone and relaxed PK part for a quick snooze before your nightly activity. Highly recommended!
