Nice mellow high with fairly balanced effects on mind and body. Taste is not the best.

Skunk 1 is always a very common weed on the black market. While it is dank in all of the loudest forms. Honestly the high does not last long. Its great for a quick hit and relief.

this herb hits hard, and you feel that body high after 30 minutes, but I can't get used to the taste

i bought this strain expecting a strong "weedy" tasting, uplifting high to wake up to in the morning but was a little disappointed. the effects are very focusing and mellowing without a real body high.
i did find it helped me study and kept me from getting distracted by TV or cellphones, but I don't have any need for this strain. If I had ADD/ADHD I'd imagine this would help, but I like uplifting and euphoric Sativa's and this was grounding and focusing.

My pics from 78' seeds kept in freezer.....Produced nearly all females at 5800' in Idyllwild, av. 7-9', almost 12 ozs. per plant.........Easy to grow in SoCal outdoors, but tends to easily mold (grey), so have to throw a fan during monsoon periods. Sweet, hashy, earthy, hay................old school...........................never 'gone' to Netherlands for crossing........done right in Canal Zone waiting for deployment, courtesy of US armed forces.........rest is bs..............why do ya think seed band for Skunk #1 was Ft. Lauderdale?????????????
Le Pew! - hard to keep this skunk in the jar. Strong aroma with smooth and sweet taste. This will get you going in the morning. Good energizing effect with happy results

I got an ounce of some Skunk #1 that was by far the best tasting seeded bud I'd ever gotten my hands on, so I wasted no time in planting the seeds I picked out. For the first time in my experience as a grower I am blessed with a hermaphrodite of this wonderful classic! Using the hermy I had to pollinate my females, and killing all other males to ensure the only cross pollination was from the hermaphrodite, I can be sure all of my seeds will be feminized. I just harvested the 6 seeds I managed to produce in my backyard during the San Diego winter, I intend on saving my feminized seeds for the spring as a part of my main outdoor this year! If only I had a grow room to keep the hermaphrodite alive through this winter to allow us to make more beautiful feminized phenos! one day...
