This is the best smelling strain I've ever come across. Holy Jesus. It literally smells like creamsicles smelted with candy. I don't know how that works but that's what it smells like. It tastes just about as good too. Excellent to roll in a thin rolling paper to enjoy the taste. As for the high, I meant to review this right after smoking it but right after smoking it I had to save a baby rabbit. Totally distracted me. Very happy chill high, but powerful, you can definitely feel it in your body. Music is also flippin incredible after smoking this strain. Best strain to smell and to just sit there listening to music, blazing.

I was having a severe arthritic attack in my left foot/knee, which was at a pain level of 8 (interferes with basic needs), so I thought I'd try this (first time). Tangerine Dream was recommended as being able to function, but help manage the pain. Neither was the case, unfortunately. I chose the "smoking" route, and while I increased the dose over the course of 5 or 6 hours in the evening, the pain never subsided or diminished in any way. My head got fuzzy, my vision got blurry, I even got to the point where I was unable to focus on simple tasks (like get a glass of ice water from the kitchen) and became mildly hallucinatory. At that point (obviously), I ceased increasing the "medication". The effects lingered another 3 or so hours, then left me with a significant headache. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this strain (or maybe the smoking method was not the correct approach) for extreme pain in your lower extremities, as it had zero effect on my symptoms, even at a dosage level that left me essentially non-functional.

Very nice head high if you smoke a little, or couch lock like a mother if you smoke a little more. Know your limits on that boundry with this strain as its pretty easy to cross into the couch lock area. Good for a morning smoke with a cuppa joe. Definitely recommend

Based on a two-week cure, will update after 4+ wk Taste: certainly citrus/tangerine-ish on the tongue. At 2-weeks cure I only enjoy this one in joint form (zig zag orange). In a glass piece it's still super-harsh. Aroma: not too strong until... you bust open a flower, then I get a big hit of Haze (I've got some G13xHaze and it compares), with deep citrus undertones . The jar started to emit pleasant aromas after I reached ~70% humidity and then brought it down to about 62 with Bovida packs in mason jars Grow: easy, I received feminized 🌰 from Barney's in the 🇺🇸 and I'm 100% satisfied with Barney's and the 🌰 I ran PH 5.9 and a balanced bloom and grow formula, and hit the girls with 'Big-up' at the prescribed times and doses. I will say I also hit my flowers at the end of week 4 with Big-up (1/2 tsp/gal). Effects: low doses I'm high not stoned which is great bc I'm always smoking. No head fuzziness. Seems to relax my back spasms for short periods. Haven't smoked so much at once that I've experienced the couch lock others have reported.. So far I only enjoy this in joint form. Glass pipe too harsh at two weeks cured. Haven't tried to cape it in my pax yet. Maybe later though. 👍🏼 Overall: Energizing high, thick smoke, tasty on the tongue with a citrus tangerine orange haze flavor in joint form. Certainly wish I grew out much more, mother plant is next up. Just might push G13xHaze out of the green room...very happy here and look g forward to the sayi have enough flower to see where my point of no return between high and stoned is. 😀

WOW! 10AM, Amsterdam on a cold October morning... strolling into Barney's on our first stop over a long weekend of "dutch hospitality" :) the budvendor highly recommended "Tangerine Dream" to get us started for the day and who would have thought the first strand I buy in the notorious 'dam be this good! Totally blew my socks off and one of my most memorable smokes... EVER (and that's saying a lot because the truth is you don't remember much after smoking in 'dam) maybe it was just a dream after all.

Smells almost exactly like a tangerine. My stuff wasn't dry so a fat bowl lasted about 6 hits. This stuff got me high enough that after 3 hits I put the pipe down, and spaced out for like 15mins until I realized I still had part of a bowl... That's how I know it's good stuff.

This strain is very interesting that the fact it distinctively smells like Tangerines and tastes earthy and a hint of sweetness. Its perfect for a good ease-out end of the day and just to sit and smoke either or alone or with friends its all good due to the high being dependant on how your mood is while smoking. These buds have very dark leaves and looks almost as if the THC and the brown hairs are mixing into brown looking THC! The negative opinion on these buds are that they give you extreme "cotton mouth" (Dry mouth). I give this strain a healthy standing 8.

Every now and then a dice roll of genetics produces a strain with a range of effects that unfold in distinct yet coalescing acts, like a Broadway show or Pulitzer Prize winning novel. This is Tangerine Dream. Act One—The Gentle Indica: Almost as soon as I exhale the refreshing citrus flavored smoke, the Afghan genetics begin massaging every muscle in my body; tension I didn't realize I had starts to unwind. Thoughts begin skittering to my subconscious like cockroaches in a spotlight. My mind a blank slate, my body a loose meat bag... I close my eyes and take in a precious minute of pure, unadulterated relaxation. Unbeknownst to me, the Haze in this strain is starting to warm up, loading thoughts one by one like the magazine of a gun. Act Two—There's Something About Sativa: My mind, body, and sour are perfectly in sync, every breath is deep and fulfilling. It's around noon, and normally I'd be putting off work but I return to my computer with a smile on my face. 'Why do I have so many browser tabs open?' I ask myself, and begin closing them with no regard to their importance or lack thereof. Once every tab is closed, I close every program and empty the Recycling Bin. My desktop is as clear as my mind, now I can get stuff done. I'm falling back into deep relaxation when I hear the click of a gun's hammer being pulled back. "Sativa... Sativa is that you?" Act Three—Sailing on Citrus Seas: Bang! The Sativa genes in this strain fire a single thought into my otherwise empty mind. It's so focused and beautiful there by itself, uncluttered by the other baggage that's normally bogging down my mind. Still relaxed and calm, I take that thought and start applying it. I'm working effectively and clearly, it feels like I got put into neutral and the productivity knob turned up to eleven. The happiness is palpable, I can't remember the last time I was cruising through files like this, enjoying fully everything that I do. The sativa effects are in full swing now but the indica is holding back it's less enjoyable effects like anxiety. It's as if the cannabis set off a predefined program in my mind the second I took flame to it: a diverse lineage created to put mankind into the perfect state of mind for life. It's balanced effects have a dynamic quality to them, working as needed to put the mind and body into exactly the state it should be in for any given situation. It has a way of streamlining thoughts in a manageable and productive way, leaving the rest of my mind free to creatively interpret whatever I'm doing, and my body in a functional state of calmness. Epilogue: So I guess this is where I tell you what I learned—my conclusion, right? Well my conclusion is: Tangerine Dream is perfect. Life's too short to not have this strain in your life all the time, it's just that good. Derek says it's always good to end with a quote. He says someone else has already said it best. So if you can't top it, steal from them and go out strong. So I picked a guy I thought you'd like. 'Awakening your spiritual side is really what artists do. When you hit a groove, it's not you; it's the spirit world.'
