History of weed
In 1929, weed was defined as a marijuana cigarette, but by the mid-1990s this slang term transformed to encompass all forms of cannabis. As a new generation of cannabis lovers, ‘90s enthusiasts came up with their own term for the plant, distinguishing their cannabis from terms of yesteryear like: grass, dope, reefer, and pot.
