Migraine pain mild; nausea 6-7 when I medicated round 1000 or so. Takes bout 5-10 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. Body high allowed me to eat breakfast! Head high was surprisingly sleepy; I passed out on dis one! How weird is that for a Sativa dominant?! I did note the head high being social & happy which was very nice. High still strong after I woke up from my 1 1/2 hour nap which is when I ate breakfast. Highly recommend for pain/nausea/anxiety. But what an Indica reaction to a Sativa dominant! O well. :-)
Really fun strain. Good for late night chillin on the couch watching a movie, but not too sedated to go do something. A must try if you haven't!
Comes on like a confident cat, strutting and purring into your lap. You will feel a few bumps going into it as your muscles unkink and your breathing grows deeper and more relaxed. About ten minutes in, after you achieve a pleasant body high, you'll get fleeting visions on your mind's eye, flickering cartoon ghosts which herald your transition to a higher state of consciousness. Cottonmouth is minimal, munchies begin to manifest about 20 minutes in. If you're doing work at a computer or workstation, this is a great strain to eat/vape/smoke if you want to really sink into the zen of your work without losing focus or concentration. Candy Jack does not make you want to get out of your chair and roll around on the floor doing yoga poses (although if you do want to do that, it's also great.) Motor skills are definitely impaired so don't use this in situations where you need coordination, (say riding a bicycle, or trying to cook something over an open flame.) As a person who suffers from GAD and OCD, I can say that this strain does not diminish one's anxiety, but it does fill one with enough giddy enthusiasm to override one's anxiety. After vaping a bowl of Candy Jack, I definitely feel myself the master of my OCD; the intrusive fears still come up, but I find I can let them go without responding with a ritual. (Your experience may differ. Talk to your psychiatrist first.) Thirty minutes in, you will definitely feel a beautiful, whole body-whole mind high come on — as if mind and body are a tuning fork that has been perfectly struck and now vibrating at just the right frequency. I haven't tried it for partying although I suspect it would enhance one's conversational skills.
I would not recommend this specific sativa if you are predisposed to anxiety! I have an anxiety disorder, but yet I tend to do okay with most sativas - this one, however, gave me a *lot* of initial paranoia and a small panic attack. This period of anxiety only lasted about 20-30 minutes, but it was extremely uncomfortable, and I will refrain from this strain in the future.
Strain: Candy Jack
Product: Kurvana Vape Oil Concentrate
Environment: Saturday Night at Home
Review: First time trying Candy Jack. Nice flavor and aroma. Having a nice chill but alert head space. Minimal drowsy/sleepy feeling.
I never write reviews but I think this one deserves it. I have been trying all different strains over the last two months. Trying to find one that helps with my mild depression. I don't have a super high tolerance but enough that some strains can be too mellow and I keep having to smoke more. This strain though I only need 1 maybe two hits and I'm good. I'm super happy, talking a lot, and wanting to get stuff done. The most interesting part is the next day I almost don't need to smoke it cause i feel like the happy/ energy effect is still active. Super great weed. Definitely recommend!
Also most weeds give me really bad dry eye, this one didnt.
I actually really enjoyed this strain. I was concerned because of the high THC level that i might be a little too high too fast, but it all worked out. I was surprisingly not paranoid at all and I believe this is my new favorite stativa.
Good sativa, heavy crash. Had to take a nap 5 hours after smoking.
