Charlotte's Web reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Charlotte's Web.
Oh man, this strain is amazing. I got a variation of the original strain that had a 1:1 CBD-THC ratio. I am always very careful with sativas since they, in my case, induce racy thoughts and heartbeat which I find overwhelming and enventually leads to anxiety and paranoia. I tried Harlequin and the same thing happened when I took my third hit, great pain relief but too much anxiety.
I mainly use cannabis for chronic pain, anxiety and depression and sometimes, it is hard to find a high-CBD indica strain that helps with both without making you sleep or feeling lazy.
Well, Charlotte's Web was a game changer. I was looking at all the strains on the online store and saw CW and told myself 'why not try it? It has equal parts of CBD and THC so we'll try.'
When I opened the bag, I was overwhelmed by the smell of this strain. Such a wonderful smell, yet I cannot describe it. Very unique. I was also surprised because the leaves were quite dark for a sativa strain. The buds were beautiful, bursting with orange hair and shining with trichromes. Not sticky though.
So I started with one careful hit in my glass pipe. Nice smoke, not too harsh on the lungs with a pleasant taste. I noticed some tingling and pain relief after maybe 5 mins. I was just feeling good, relaxed, focused and happy. So I took a second hit. Now I was smiling and feeling really productive, but still relaxed. So I decided to take one last, 3rd hit. And that's exactly when I decided to pick up my phone and rate this strain on Leafly. Man, I feel so good!
Now I can enjoy a sativa to kill my pain and be productive without feeling overwhelmed with anxiety and racing thoughts. Love love love CW, thank God for your existence.
Oh yeah and I finally took a 4th hit while writing this. Hehe.
Just go get some, you won't regret it!
tried this for the first time today and it was magical.
i suffer with severe social anxiety and depression, and i felt super relaxed and chilled out.
gives u the crazy munchies (imo) but other than that, it’s an amazing strain and i will continue to smoke this! looooove it
This strain is key for me to take the edge off of stress and "negative spiral" thinking. I love high CBD strains, but many times I am provided a package harvested some months ago. Not the case a Curaleaf-Midtown. Nice and fresh, from the top shelf where Charlotte belongs. If you are an early bird like me they offer an AM discount, and the Top Shelf Tuesday deal is great too.
Absolutely one of my favorites for daytime or even early evening hits. Great strain and definitely a go to for me 👍👍
Got it from national compassion. My word this is what cbd is all about. Its the perfect day time strain for anxiety patients. If you smoke too much you can nap too.
The prerolls are good too.
Note though its not as uplifting as higher thc strains... so it will calm you the fuck down, but it wont make you happy unless you mix a little white russian or ak 47 or ATF in it.
Got the same strain from pure green express and got some branches that look like birdpoop.
So make sure you get it from pot cargo or national compassion friends.
Don't hesitate it will help you rebuild yourself from broken and fucked up.

I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and some kind of spasm/twitch/involuntary movement hell that we're working on a name for.
For the last part a neurologist (who I have since fired from my care team) told me to take klonopin. I took it as directed and it was the worst pain of my life and I've had two kids since the fibro started. Took pain spasms in major muscle groups to ones that involved my ribs and diaphragm which meant I couldn't breath when the spasm was happening. It was horrifying. Took a double dose of the tizanidine that I was on and three times the amount of a tincture made using White Fire (hybrid that helps with pain/spasms) to get things to calm enough to sleep. When the tincture wore off about 5 hours later things started to ramp back up again. Ended up in the ER writhing and crying and cursing because I was hysterical with pain. They gave me dilauded and it didn't do a damn thing for the pain.
What did help was valium but made me foggy and I can't work like that. My research brought to my attention a strain of cannabis called Charlotte's Web. It has a THC content of only 0.6% with a CBD above 10%. THC is what gives you the high of cannabis. The strain was developed specifically for a little girl that was having hundreds of seizures a day. Her family heard that CBD could help, tried it and it helped her so much they moved from the east coast to Colorado so she could get it legally. My theory was that since many of the pharmaceuticals I've been put on for spasms/twitches/wtfever have also been anti-seizure meds then a cannabis strain breed for seizures would help as well.
I can't smoke or vape anything (sensitive lungs) but I can do edibles and tinctures. Got some of the CW and processed half in coconut oil and the other half went into Everclear to make a 2-week tincture. So I'm using the Charlotte's Web baked in cookies during the day and the Valium at night plus for break through spasm-hell. If I get pissed off as badly as I was yesterday afternoon by some call center idiot nurse then all bets are off and I have to upgrade to the valium for break through. But I can work on the Charlotte's Web with very little high or pain fog. I get the occasional twitch but none of the terrifying chest spams that stop my breathing.
Going to get some growing in my hydroponic set up as soon as I can get a couple of clones from a group in the next county over (only guys that have them).
This strain is amazing and I cannot say how grateful I am that I was able to find out where to find it on Leafly.
I suffer from CPTSD tired of all the drugs from the doctor that did nothing. I decided to try CW. Game changer

Needed a pain reliever with my double scoliosis and it sure did worked. Didn't hit pipe much to notice a quick effect, then again, my metabolism is high so medicine takes effect on me quicker than the normal.
