This strain is fire. Ive been looking for a 100% indica around my area for awhile. $4 for 20.9% thc Darkstar. it was too good to pass up. This strain is so sedating its definitely my top 5. great for sleep and pain. you will wake up refreshed

Dark Star is an absolutely outstanding pure Indica that offers nearly incomparable relief of pain (including bone, joint, and nerve pain; chronic, acute, intractable, etc) nausea, anxiety, insomnia, migraine and migraine symptoms, and probably a slew of other conditions that I personally do not suffer from. The flowers are super dense, and heavily coated with beautiful and perfectly sticky trichomes (definitely recommend using a nice glass piece to experience full flavor or if you MUST roll, roll a spliff so it will burn evenly). You will be met with an earthy, spicy aroma with hints of what almost smell like coffee, citrus and natural camphor laurel oil/African Blue Basil. It is a quite aesthetically pleasing strain...in the sun it shimmers like a diamond and from a distance appears to be almost a fiery pinkish orange. Even though it's average THC content is only around 15%, I would still say use caution when medicating with this strain any time other than bed time due to it's true Indica profile: It has a fairly sedating effect which may make it difficult to drive or engage in other activities that require physical/mental alertnes. I happen to love it for that exact reason as it has allowed me to sleep all the way through the night! If you are looking for something to melt away stress, pain, or nausea and make you feel like your brain and body are snuggled up in fluffy blankets, this is the strain for you! I just picked up this strain yesterday and it impressed me! It helped my depression, pain and anxiety. 5 stars

As someone diagnosed with insomnia this particular strain is a life saver. Working third shift doesn't really allow for much sleep in general but with Dark Star sleep no longer feels like something just out of reach.

Great old school Indica. Powerful, but calming, pain relieving, and euphoric without anxiety or paranoia. Relieved a migraine very effectively. Good strain for when you still want to function in reality. but want ti do so in a more relaxed and stress free way.
