I'm trying this strain right now and it has its perks, I'm enjoying it so far. I'm a very task oriented person. This is a very true sativa strain, Similar to Green Crack. When you smoke this strain, I think it's pretty dry and can be irritating for the throat. I also wanted to note that I had a headache earlier from a session. It is good for sciatica, back and foot pain. I have energy to think quickly and act. Wake and bake approved. I would recommend it. :)

Bottom Line Up Front: I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for the “textbook” Sativa. This is a great afternoon or fri/sat night smoke with the euphoric effects of an Sativa without the jitteryness or paranoia that can accompany some of the stronger Sativa dominant hybrids. Onset is quite rapid and you will soon find yourself in “the zone”. Sour Diesel would make a great addition to to one’s collection who is looking for a high-quality Sativa Hybrid that combines the best of both worlds with an emphasis on the euphoric effects of the Sativa. Good for intimate parties, or spending the evening partying at home with that special someone. The only thing I wish is that the effects were a little longer in duration. I was left wanting more of a great thing with Sour Diesel. Empirical Data and Value: Out of the bag, the overall look and feel met my prior expectations of across the board (based on other’s reviews). Smell is VERY distinct with very earthy, diesely, pungent aromas hitting the nose hard right off the bat.. The smoke to follow is exactly what you would expect when you first smell it. You know you are in for an experience. Burned consistently to fine white ash (70/30) Sativating proper growing/harvesting technique. Value is there. Again, not the best value in the world, but worth the money if you are looking for a quality Sativa Hybrid..

Best strain I've ever smoked. Makes me feel like I'm literally living a dream. Super relaxing. The high is just incredible, the kind that makes lying down, looking up at the stars, and just thinking about the universe the most incredible experience I've ever experienced. It's just so perfect. Some of the negatives, however, are the duration and potency of it. The smell completely fills the room as soon as I open the baggie. The high itself lasts probably 2 hours, with the peak at 30-45 minutes in. There's no crash with sour d really. It's just a gradual transition. Additionally, I act completely normal when I use this strain, it's just like I'm not high, like I am right now.

Wonderful experience almost every time, but be careful, it can be strong. I smoked a larger amount than normal almost completely by myself (about 1.5 grams) and ended up with extreme vertigo and motion sickness, but tripped out every time I closed my eyes. The high itself lasted roughly 3 hours, during which I was beyond happy. Any other time I've smoked Sour D, I've been giddy and quite frankly, completely happy to the point where I thought literally everything was adorable. I strongly reccomend this, especially if you're a worrisome person like I am. This would probably be most beneficial to people who stressed out.

Sour Diesel has become my favorite Sativa. I'm not a big fan of the diesel taste (since I vaporize), but for the effect it's well worth it :) It helps so much with pain and doesn't make me counter-productive.

i had spinal fusion surgery a couple years ago which causes unbearable pain in my shoulder blades and back. this pain usually inspires me to lay down and do nothing all day, but when i smoke this miracle strain the horrible pain vanishes! sour diesel relieves both physical and mental stress and is by far one of my favorite everyday-use strains. the only thing with sour d is that it gives me super intense munchies and i usually choose to not eat after i smoke but i get really hungry after smoking this strain and want to eat everything lol

Fantastic strain, got my hands on a second batch today, busy rolling one right now. Off the bat, it's a seriously pungent strain, the diesel aroma can be picked up very clearly and once it's out of the grinder, it's earthy highlights are revealed. A very good mind high, very little body buzz and almost no appetite enhancement whatsoever. Dreamy and mellow, great for pain. I often push myself a little too much at the gym and have torn ligaments, dislocated shoulders and have muscles that take a while to recover. Sour Diesel is fantastic in that it dulls the pain really well, allowing a vast amount of relief and makes sleeping bearable and comfortable. Great strain, definitely a winner in anyone's books !
