A ‘pod’ is a cannabis term for a small, disposable THC oil container. Pod vaporizer systems combine a battery base with a custom-shaped pod that slots into the battery’s top. You sip on the top of the pod to generate vapor and take a hit. Pods are one of the two main types of disposable THC oil containers. The other type is a cartridge, or ‘cart.’ Pods became increasingly popular in 2020s for their sleek look, and easy function. Pods also allow cannabis brands to release semi-proprietary, custom-calibrated pod systems—like the 710 Labs pod. The most popular pod is the PAX pod.
