It was a very productive high for me. I cleaned and ran errands, even motivated me to go to the gym today after a 2 week break. This is a strain I would definitely have time and time again.

The real Colombian gold/red/black seedless strains from the 70's were the best weed i've ever smoked! A pinhead joint would get 3 peeps super high for hours! You really didn't need to smoke much because it was so potent!! None of the weed today even comes close!! It was $60 bucks an oz. back then, & worth every cent! The seeded buds were not much cheaper, but you had to know the look & smell of the good stuff, because there were lots of dirt weed around claiming to be it, but were bunk as hell. The black dealers had the best, then the berkeley hippies, the mexicans mostly had dirt weed! Only one other strain was it's equal, the kick ass opiated/chocolate Thai Sticks!! These all disappeared when Humboldt County Indica started taking over, then came Hydroponics & 100's of Hybrids! The weed today is potent, but the highs are short lived, where as you have to smoke continually to maintain the high. I wish i had kept those real Colombian seeds.👍👍👌👌✌✌

Not real! No seedbanks carry the real Colombian Gold, I have lived in Colombia seen smoked the real deal, its like jack herer and schrooms but all these seed companys claiming to have gold are lying, looks nothing like the real plant and doesn't flower as long.

Creative juices no couchlock. Kind of woody tasting. Flavor is not very special. Cerebral happy high. Good ideas popping. Just don't forget what they were. Good to stay active, get creative. Good for practicing music which is what might bring me back for more, lacking an indica meltdown is why I might not be.

Picked up an eighth from Good Chemistry in Denver. I was weary of a pure sativa since I am prone to anxiety, the bud tender indicated that this was not a racy strain for him and was very clear headed. The smell on this one is very citrusy, smells very fresh. The smoke is smooth as well, a sour taste for sure. My tolerance is very low, but I feel lifted from this one, very clear thoughts. Some very, very slight cranial pressure around my temples.

I have purchased Columbian Gold several times recently and I've always been impressed. Blonde and light green, it smells not of pine as much as pine forest floor. I live amongst the Pines in Florida, and it's a lovely scent of home. My flowers have been right around 16.5% THC, so not too aggressive, but a lovely potent uplifting feeling that helps me to focus. I suggest trying this strain because it is that old hippie strain, it's just that it's not being seen through rose tinted glasses.

Columbian Gold strain is by far the best i have ever smoked. The true strain disapeared about 1979,1980 and i haven't seen the real strain since.We would get pounds that would be a big compressed muffin. There is only one pic on here that represents it and its the one that is totally gold. Like previous reviews stated you will know when you smoked it cause its a high you wont forget.Just wish it would come back along with the red leb hash and the real Thai sticks DAMN I sure miss those days.
