This is my favourite strain. My life has been a sh*t show for the past seven months and this strain keeps me from crumbling. It brings on feelings of euphoria and gratitude. It helps me focus and my problems don’t disappear, they just weigh less. Gives me energy to get things done too.
Derban Poison is a very good strain, however this only applies if you have a drink with you as it gives you severe dry-mouth , but gave me a very talkative giggly high also. Overall a very good strain!
I had heard about this strain for nausea control and wanted to try it. Found some at Oregon's Finest in PDX. Visually, this sample has smallish, tightly packed buds, that are medium green, with dark brown hairs interspersed lightly. There are white crystal forests all over the surfaces. A little difficult to grind because of the density and resin. Vaping at 380 produced a light vapor, which tasted mostly of pine, and made me want to cough on occasion. First few hits over five minutes did almost nothing. However, this strain is a creeper. After 5-10 minutes I began to get the familiar sativa brain-hug and spaceyness. It made me want to smile. This is a very uplifting strain. It made me appreciate sounds more vibrantly. Would be a good strain for listening to music or enjoying nature. It completely alleviated my nausea, but didn't make me want to eat everything in sight, which is rare. Not really good for pain control, other than as a distraction. Didn't make me sleepy at all. No anxiety or paranoia. Overall, a good solid uplifting, daytime medicine for nausea, anxiety, depression, etc.
I wasn't sure about this one at first. I picked up some at the suggestion of the lady helping me out at the dispensary, not really sure what to expect but hopeful that it would help keep me productive. I have a brain injury and it's already hard enough to focus, so a big plus was that this doesn't make me too tired.
The outcome after smoking tends to be rather unpredictable, at least for me. Sometimes I'm 100% motivated and all of my homework and house cleaning is done with hours to go before my wife gets home, and other times I find myself just slumped on the couch reading a good book or watching a tv show. Definitely also seems to be dependent upon the delivery method - pipe or vaporizer. Vaporizer gives me a much more stable result and has become my go-to method.
All in all I highly recommend this one! No matter how much work I get done, I'm always in a pleasant mood and my wife has commented how much happier I seem since switching from all of the pain meds I was previously on.
This strain puts me on my ass. Hits hard, not like a strong indica where you feel super weighed down, but quite the opposite feel super light and focused. Chores get done in no time, can be used for relaxation as well though I prefer for when I have something to do. Definitely behind the eyes, but very little body effects, slightly tingly. No couch lock even when consumed in larger quantities
This strain can be bright green at times, but usually tends to lean towards having spots of dark green and having an overall sandy tint. Durban poison that I've got have always been very pointy, squishy with thin leaves and like others have mentioned, "burns well all the way".
DP :) I can remember this strain and all like it. The SOUR, this SKUNKY, PUNGENT, CITRUSY, open the bottle and your eyes wanna roll back, its my favorite kind of bud. IMO there is 'two' main categories of herb; Sativa-'Citrus/sour' and Indica-'Fruit/berry'. Taste/smell is very opinionated and this is just my subjective opinion to help other find the right kind of herb that they are looking for because lets be honest. You go in some places and you don't always know what you're getting. And for me it took a long time before I realized I needed the SOUR SOUR CITRUS over the jelly. which isn't bad either, I've found good hybrids that hold both well like dutch treat.
P.s Some Indica have some SOUR SOUR SOUR SOU and it was Northern lights. Other than that IDK any other indica that had that kind of citrus flavor, taste and high..
Great strain to wake and bake. It's like the best cup of coffee without the jitters from too much caffeine. It actually calms my mind from stress a lot and makes me feel much less anxious. One of my favorite Sativa strains.
Made me feel really happy, hopeful, and like I just wanted to go out and live life.
