Headband reviews

Review for Tweed's Sun-Grown Yorkshire (Headband). This stuff hits hard and fast, and can really mess you up if you smoke too much at once. Go easy and see where your tolerance is with it; after experimenting I find that half a bowl smoked from my glass pipe is more than enough. Others have already commented on the actual "headband" feeling you get, and it's true. Not overwhelming but very calming and relaxing, and excellent to help you fall asleep and stay asleep. The effects last several hours for me, and it's immediate couch lock when the full effects hit in the first half hour. An exceptional strain, and one of the best indicas I've ever had.

Personally, not the biggest fan. The headband feeling can be intense, which I find discomforting. Each time I’ve smoked it, I have felt very anxious as well. Kind of like a jittery feeling, without the jitters. A few said it was good to go to work, but I could not imagine working while smoking this. It is very potent and hits hard.

We recieved this strain shortly after I read about it at the dispensary that I am employed with. I was really excited to try this strain that I heard was one of the "most intense sativas out there". The start of the smoke wasn't too different, a little harsh if anything, and didn't taste the best. However, a small chaser (just a glass of water) would dissapate the taste immediately. I did get some tingling feelings on my arms and legs, but I didn't get the "headband" feeling that this strain was named after. The overall hish once it plateaued was, actually, enjoyable and calm. I had some trouble with keeping my train of thought, and there were a lot of time when I would just zone out and discontinue a conversation, but aside from that I didn't get feelings of nausea, or any real negative side-effects. I would most defenitely suggest this to people who are looking for a nice strong sativa, however, I would also like to state that if you have a high level of anxiety or have been known to be a paranoid high, this could possibly tip you over the edge. Please smoke responsibly.

This is the best strain I’ve tried yet! It makes me feel so blissfully happy and at peace. Headband also helps me get things done around my apartment without being easily distracted. Would HIGHLY recommend to a friend! :)

I love this strain. I have severe anxiety and this relaxes me so much. It's definitely one of my favorites.

I got headband not knowing much about it. I read stuff online like I do with all the new strains I get and it looked pretty good. I was so right. I love smoking outside in the woods with a little sun light cuz it just sets the mood for everything. I smoked about probably 2 bowls and didn't feel anything. I was so pissed cuz I thought he sold me some mids. I kept smoking (big big Big mistake) after about 20 min of just smoking it hit me, but not hard but slowly. I was so stoned off this stuff that I literally felt like I was asleep. I didn't move for at least 30 min I just sat there holding my bong thinking about life. After a while I came back too and was still very very high. I got on my bike and started to ride home. This is the part when I felt the headband part working. It felt like somebody put a 100 rubber bands around my head and then was just squeezing the shit out of my head but not in a bad way. It felt kinda good. I got home and went to my room and ate so much food. Like way way to much food and sat and just watching TV. I didn't move for 2 hours. When I was coming down from my high it sucked and that's when I told my self I can't smoke that much of this strain again because I got the worst headache I have ever gotten. I still had a head high so it helped a little but if I was sober it would have killed me. I couldn't sleep well because I had to take so. Many shits cuz of how much I ate, and tbh that's OK with me cuz the high was amazing. This strain will give u the perfect body high, and the perfect head high. Just enough to let u remember big details of what happened but leave you completely blank on everything else. Having a conversation after smoking a lot of this is not a good idea because I literally could not focus on anything besides the high. Over all I love this strain, the only thing I wish was better was coming off the high but that was more my fault for being stupid and smoking 2g in one sitting

This is the first strain I ever bought for myself to smoke, hence it holds a very special place in my heart. Getting zooted back in Junior year smoking headband during Christmas break with my friends was a great time. This strain would help me sleep like a baby, I haven’t smoked it in a long time, but would be very happy to see it again. The only complaint I have is that I did not get the classic headband feeling on my head, but I was still zooted off this so I love it.

As the name states, it feels like pressure around your whole head. Headband has always been a favorite of mine, can’t beat the parent strains that come together to make this. OG Kush x Sour Diesel. 5 star strain if from a good cultivator.
